This is my first mbrp cat back. Typically I cut the stock mufflers off and replace with a flow master. I wanted to keep my stock exhaust for the future of I sell my truck or get tires of the exhaust.First things first. It came packaged nicely. There was very mild rust where the oil wasn't on the pipe. I cleaned off all the oil from the pipes and roughed it up some. I sprayed high temp primer and spray 2-3 layers of black high temp paint to help prevent rusting early. It came with a pipe with a welded flanged that attaches to the flange on the stock pipe. It has the muffler, a rear pipe that goes over the back axel, two exhaust clamps one has a hanger welded on it, instructions, and a red mbrp sticker. If you have a short bed you'll need to cut off 13 and some inches, if you have a long bed no cutting is needed. The system went together easily. Make sure to spray wd40 on your flange bolts, and the rubber mounts it'll make your job easier. Also it wouldn't hurt to put anti seize on the bolts to help prevent rusting. The exhaust actually sounds decent definitely not a v8 sound it's only V6. The price was right so far so good.

I was a bit skeptical of this catback exhaust. I'm glad to say my misgivings were misplaced! This was super easy to install (2 bolts) and hooked right up to the stock hangers. I did have to cut the one pipe to fit my short bed, but my reciprocating saw made that easy. From start to finish, it took me about 15 minutes to change out my exhaust! It definitely improves the sound on my 2019 Tacoma Sport from stock. I was fearful this exhaust would be too loud - I wasn't looking for anything loud, just deeper and a bit more throaty. While it still doesn't sound like a V8, it does sound better! For $200ish, you can't beat this exhaust! The one drawback I have found is that there is a bit of a cabin drone at 1700 rpm and again at 2700 - 3200 RPM. Other than that, the exhaust note is just fine, and no drone. I hear that you can cut a bit off the tailpipe end and it will take care of the drone. I haven't done this, as the drone hasn't really bothered me all that much, but it's something you might want to look into if the drone gets on your nerves.Definitely a great product for the money, and I'm happy with my purchase!

This is an AWESOME budget exhaust for your Tacoma! It made me fall in love with my truck all over again! My only gripe is that when I opened the box, the resonator was damaged on one end. It wasn't a huge deal, and I was able to work the flange back to round.

Such an easy install, I had it done in about an hour with the help of my wife. It does sound a little aggressive but it sounds great after it settles in. Nice low tone when cruising and aggressive scream when WOT. For the price I couldn’t be happier. The three inch pipe with no tip actually looks good, it’s such a nice looking exhaust especially with a three inch coming out. Looks almost stock. For those complaining about cutting for the short bed, give me a break, it took 1 min with a sawzall and they give you exact measurements for a perfect fit.

First off, i'd like to state that i'm a 17 year old boy who loves loud sounding exhausts... but this is a bit much. Videos make it sound less loud than it actually is. The package came together nice, but I was a bit frustrated that they want you to reuse all the screws and gaskets. I had to buy new screws as the old ones were rusted, which resulted in stripping them. Upon start up the truck sounds great... It has that truck sound that you want. As you start driving though it gets louder, like way louder. The note is nice at low rpm's, but as you go higher in rpm's it sounds off for a truck. The best way I can describe it is that it sounds like a ricer and a full size truck had a baby. The drone is also very noticeable at around 1700 RPM. You can get rid of most of the drone by switching to a lower gear. For example, driving 60 in 6th gear puts me at 1700, were then it drones. If you go into 5th, that puts you at 2k which helps a lot. The downside to that though is now your riding at a higher RPM, which in turns consumes more gas. If you are towing anything more than you, do yourself a favor and don't get this. Towing anything makes it almost unbearable to drive, it is just to loud. To sum it all up, save your money and buy a nicer exhaust.

Pros:1. Easy to install2. Cheap Price3. Better MPG (1-2 mpg +)Cons:1. RUST easily, do not stand up to pavement driving (no salt and no off roading).2. LOUD & the muffler failed a month ago, suddenly got extremely loud3. RUBS against the leaf pack (OME Dakar Leaf Pack Installed)4. DRONES. 2300 - 2500 rpm and anything over 70 mphAll and all, its a good exhaust over all for driving around town. I would not suggest buying this exhaust if you plan on having people in your truck. After 20,000 miles of install, the exhaust should pay for itself with the gains in mpg.

This exhaust fit perfectly. Had to cut the lead pipe just like the instructions said. Only issue is doesn't say which side is in or out. After calling MBRP. You need to be able to read MBRP on the muffler from the passenger side!

Very nice exhaust for the price, much cheaper than any other kit. Bolts up and aligns with factory hangers perfectly. The exhaust is quite loud and very very raspy with heavy throttle. Pretty good for around town but if you're pulling a trailer maybe look elsewhere - pulled a car on a trailer for 3 hours and the drone was unbearable due to being under load a lot of the time.

Increased low end torque. Reduced amount of transmission shifts on hills. Not quiet!! Perfect fitment.
