This motor is an exact fit for the Atwood 8535-IV-DCLP furnace here is a few tips for getting the old motor out. Prior to removing the old motor, use penetrating oil on BOTH ends (fan blades). Remove the furnace circuit board (wing nut) you will need the room for drum fan removal. I also used automotive hose clamps to secure the drum fans to the motor shaft.

This motor is an exact fit for the Atwood 8535-iv-dclp in my 2003 Pace Arrow motorhome and works perfectly.Slowly over a period of a few months my heater had begun to start with a squealing noise. This got progressively worse, at the beginning it would happen for a few seconds at the start and go away, but with time it became a constant part of the heater running. After quite a bit of research I ordered this motor and followed a couple YouTube video instructionals to replace the old one. This isn’t a simple job but I consider myself very good at DIY and mechanical projects. I also have all the necessary tools at my disposal. This motor fit perfectly and the connectors on the ends of the motor wires were a perfect match for my existing setup. After about an hour of fumbling and cursing I had it replaced and buttoned back up. The fan now blows much more forcefully and is nearly silent. The price here was better than my local RV parts store by about %40 and delivery was very quick.If I have any issues with longevity I will update this review but after 1 week of continuous use we are looking good.

This fit exactly like the original. The only difference is that the lead wires are a little longer, but this was no issue at all. My Atwood 8535 IV furnace is now running again.
