I bought this and is good. I didn’t pay attention to the 12oz in description. A regular size can will not fit. But is my fault I didn’t read. So far so good.

This is the best can crusher we have bought in several years and we have had several. It is made of much thicker material. So the handle does not want to bend. crushes the cans with ease. our 5 year old grandson uses it daily.

Bought this April 26th 2023. It was easy to install and seemed to do the job. Crushed Diet Coke cans well until last Friday, February 16th 2024. It literally destroyed itself beyond any hope of repair becoming a twisted hunk of useless metal. Mid-stroke the lock nut unlocked HA HA off the handle and since it was moving with crushing force, pun indented, it destroyed itself and nearly my hand as well.Now you may think that this belonged to 200 lbs. of mean machine macho, but no my wife and I are in our 70s and we have only crushed less than half a garbage bag of Diet Coke cans. We just don't drink that much Coke. So, it has had light use by regular people.I should have taken a picture of it on the wall with a partially crushed Coke can in it, but I was just going to throw it away and start over. Then I realized that perhaps McKay would make it right. I mean all that's missing to make it a safe and dependable product is simple little washers between the lock nut and the handle so that the handle doesn't rub the lock not off with use.Tried to contact McKay and nope, no response. Am I surprised? Not at all.So, if you buy one of these, please do yourself and your hand a favor and before mounting up for use take the lock nuts off the handle, put an appropriate washer on between handle and locknut and proceed to use without fear of total annihilation of your crusher and possible grievous injury to whichever hand is working the McKay crusher.

I love my car crusher. I bought mine about a year ago and then have purchased more as gifts. It works great even after going through hundreds of cans. I did re oil it at one point in the last year and it works like a charm.

Great construction and made well. I installed on concrete wall, would've like the option of having anchors and not just cheap wood screws.Apart from that, works well and will give me more room in the recycling bin
