This was bought to get smell out of garage from laser engraver. It does wonder job. No more smell. No more trying keep smell out house or opening garage door when cold keep smell out.

I recently purchased a 40W Creality Falcon 2 Pro laser cutter/engraver. I am in a basement without good access to vent to the outside and purchased the MD13 to filter the smoke due to cutting. With my old DIY open frame 7W laser, I had to take it outside if I was doing anything more the quick engraving as the smoke was too much. The Creality is fully enclosed and has a single fan driven duct to vent. I have done some preliminary testing of the MD 13 cutting 3mm plywood and have been very happy with the results. The unit seems to remove almost all traces of smoke such that I can be in the room with the laser while cutting. There is some residual smell, but not too bad. My plan is to add a 4" dryer vent with a small fan of about 100 CFM to remove the odor that remains after the MD13 does its job. The unit is not super quiet at high speed, but tolerable. I've been running at full speed and need to experiment to see if it is effective at lower speeds as this will reduce the noise even further. This unit is about half the price of the Creality purifier. I have no way to compare, but I am happy with the purchase. The Creality supplied flex duct fit the MD13 just fine. Replacement filters are about 1/2 of the Creality filter cost. Time will tell how often this needs changing. Since this is a hobby machine, I won't be using it on a daily basis, so I expect a good run time.

The replacement filters are $80 and only last a few hours before they are completely clogged. I bought two of these, unfortunately. I do not recommend at all!

Bought this filter for my Creality Falcon 2 40W Diode laser. It is hooked up to the enclosure and does exactly as advertised. I have only tested with wood so far but it has prevented that smell and smoke from spilling out into the room.

After using for few cuts of 3mm MDF wood the air is not going true in the pre filter and they don't have replacement, you have to buy the all filter set or buy from other company the pre filter but its not the same size so have to cut for the size.What they are saying that it works 300 hours its a huge lie!! I used like 2 hours than the pre filter got full and the machine stop working, the smoke was going out everywhere because couldn't pass in the pre filter.If they would have a pre filter for this machine I would give 5 star but like this is terrible. Can not find the same size of pre filter nowhere.So I'm sorry but I wouldn't buy this again or guys you should sell the pre filter because the machine is ok.

Cleaned the air perfectly! No more fumes and awful smell!!! The photos do not convey how large this unit is. It is on wheels and has a gigantic filter. So happy that I bought this.

Really!!!I recently purchased the Genmitsu MD13 Smoke Purifier to use with my Xtool S1 40W laser. Initially, I was venting smoke through a window in my basement, but that solution wasn't working well.I considered getting an X-tool smoke purifier since they are known for high-quality products, but the price was a bit steep. After comparing the specs, I found that the Genmitsu MD13 offered similar features at a more affordable price point.One thing I usually avoid is buying products with few reviews, especially when they're rated at 100%. However, I'm glad I took a chance on this one. The product arrived fully assembled, and the hose fit perfectly with my Xtool S1 40W. The purifier operates quietly, especially on the lower settings, which is a nice bonus.To test its effectiveness, I intentionally generated a significant amount of smoke by cutting multiple layers at once. Using its highest setting, the purifier did an excellent job—there was no detectable smoke odor, even when I stood right next to the laser. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable smoke purifier at a reasonable price.
