This is a very affordable and good solution for a small shop. The machine comes with a variety of connectors that should work in about any situation. I connected mine to an MDF enclosure I built for my laser engraver.The metal case makes this a sturdy machine It has a dial to adjust the cfm and is reasonably quiet for the amount of air it's moving, even when set on high.There are some reviews here knocking the filters. Mine came with 3 different filters pre-installed and an additional 4 top/large particulate filters. The other 2 are easily available online even if Sovol doesn't provide them. The other filters have tabs and are easily replaced when time comes. IMO, filters aren't an issue.I'm looking forward to not pumping the warm air out of my shop this winter.

I'm not unhappy withn the machine ,the machine does what it's intended to do, I am however very disappointed that a ser of filters for this machine cost a 1/4 of what the machine cost.That's gonna be bookoo $$ over the life span of this machine. I'm in my 3rd month and now needing to change the filters at $50 .

Before buying this fume extractor I did a lot of research and I compared it to many other brands within the same price range. I use it almost every other day and so far it works extremely well and I am very happy and pleased with my purchase. I also recently had to contact customer service and I was somewhat skeptical at first about them getting back to me since there is no live person to talk to. After completing the online form and submitting it for a call back, to my surprise I was contacted by their after-sales service department. They were extremely helpful from beginning to end. They stayed in constant contact through email until my problem was resolved. Not only did I purchase I great product but also a peace of mine that if something goes wrong I can certainly trust this company and their after-sales service team to get it resolved.

I use mine with a PVC dust collection hose for longer range. I have that taped to a crappy smoke extractor lamp for support (3-in-1 Solder Fume Extractor Smoke Absorber Remover with 26in Adjustable Arm, 3 Carbon Filters, Soldering Fan Lamp with 3 Colors 10 Brightness for PCB Repairing ESD DIY Working Soldering Desoldering). I use it to collect smoke from my bong to keep my room smelling nice.Since I use it so little the filter will last a long time, but I haven't been able to find replacement filters anywhere. The Sovol website doesn't even have them. What am I supposed to do when they wear out?

Company should sell replacement filters and doesn’t keep saying soon on Amazon, so until then machine is useless DO NOT BUY ! Used for a month changed top filter 3 times but no way to change the others . Maybe Amazon needs to make sure before they sell crap!!
