It's solid. The only drawback is that it's 55 amps. I'd rather have it 60 amps, which is the rating on my controller. It does prevent the current leaking back, which would be a loss of power, so I'm getting maximum wattage out of my solar panels. I'm not sure if 20 bucks is a good value, but if it does last for a couple years, then I'll be happy.

Probably overkill for my application, but it works well! I installed a small battery in my enclosed trailer so that the overhead lights would work even when the trailer was not hooked up to the vehicle... In doing this mod, I needed a way to prevent backfeed that could potentially drain the trailer's battery back into the vehicle's system, this diode was the ticket...

I use this in two of my battery packs that I've built and it helps the power not reverse itself very important to have if you have multiple battery packs and you don't want them to drain very easy to install I didn't have any problems it's a good value for the money it works very well I haven't had any in my power go backwards since I put it on so that saying something
