I actually rated this 4* because the first order was delivered without the spring expansion pliers. The replacement, which contained the pliers, took a week to arrive. I’m not sure I would’ve had the patience to get those springs back on without them. Here are a few tips I felt might help the next person;1. Find the video from Repair Clinic on YouTube. It helps tremendously!2. If you have a metal file, file the ends of the pliers to about 1/2 their original diameter. It’s not impossible without doing this just less of a hassle.3. Make sure the arrow one the washer lines up with the pointed nib on the gasket. (See photo)4. Make sure the gasket is separated fully where the outer seal gets attached. I had to manually separate mine after spending WAY too much time and effort trying to make it fit. (See photo w/red arrow)5. This is AT MOST a three beer project. Any more and you risk losing parts. Any less and you risk breaking everything within reach.

Bought for my lg wm8000hwa that was stained from mildew. Fits perfectly and same quality as the original. Had everything needed at a way lower price than the manufacturer and was not difficult to install. Will purchase again if I ever need another one.

I have model WM8000HVA LG front load washer.Washer door boot gasket fits perfect.Took my time and installed it with one (1) problem.The door boot gasket should include a Lock Cable Tie toSecure the sensor with wire that attached at the top of the seal when replacing it.Medal clamp is not used. Luckily I had one, small 7 inch tieOverall great product

This was a nice fitting replacement gasket for my washing machine. I would have given a full 5 starts if it weren't for this not being "new". The gasket was new but was very clearly repackaged/retaped into a box half the size it should have been in. As a result took a couple days sitting out to regain enough of it's shape to the point I didn't feel it would fight me going in. Installation is easier than it would seem, just take your time and be organized. If your shopping for one of these you are likely disgusted by the mold/mildew you see when opening and closing your machine. Let me tell you what you see is a fraction of what is actually in there so go ahead and order one and spend the hour installing it.
