I'm using these in a slightly non-standard way as well as a somewhat non-standard use in general. These look like they are well-made, they are stitched well and strongly and the clamp things have a double sort of thing for unlocking and locking them, I'm not sure if I am explaining that correctly but they seem to stay clamped well. And for me I was happy because they didn't clamp down TOO tightly to cut into the material.I am using these on spandex compression pants for running and biking in the cold, I needed something to hold the pants up well when moving. I am not fat but I am not thin either but I wanted a compression layer as well as an extra layer for warmth, so I needed something to hold the compression pants in place, but gently enough not to cut through the material. So far so good, these seem to fit the bill. They are made well and are easy to put into place and equally easy to adjust.I am using them backwards from how they are supposed to be used - I use them with the two straps and clamps on the back of the pants to hold it up there especially when biking as that is where they might ride up. This works great and I have a short or jacket over them so wearing them the opposite way from how they are supposed to be worn is no issue.I did try them in the correct orientation and that worked well also, so for me either way and of course I am using them for something that the average person who needs them probably isn't going to use them for, so despite that they work great and seem to be perfect for what I need.

Per my husband: "I thought they were pretty good quality if you're looking for more narrow suspenders. The adjusting clasp can be a little difficult to maneuver. They work great, seem to be fairly durable, it's kind of a one size fits all. Excellent price, I like the look and color as well."

Perfect - my fiance does a lot of running around and moving at work and his pants have gotten a little loose lately. He doesn't like to wear a belt and says these suspenders have been perfect for keeping his pants from sagging uncomfortably on the job.

These are my first try at suspenders. Because I was not liking the constant pulling up my trousers, I tried these. They fit fine - but were maxed out at my 6'1'' height. I wore them invisibly under my flannel shirt and they were comfortable and did the job ok. While sitting on my couch after wearing them all day, the back clasp let go. Not the best thing to happen, but not embarrassing either. I just went in another room and reattached it again. These are adequate, but not if you're over 6 feet tall.

When I was a child in the 50's, suspenders were in. Kids did not wear belts but sometimes needed help with their pants staying up, especially when Mom buys a size larger for future growth. Dad and Gramps wore suspenders with their suits too. Well, I am no longer a child but I need help with wearing my pants. I have some jeans I wear while gardening that are, frankly, a little loose but oh so comfortable to work in. In fact I have several pairs of jeans that are big on me (losing weight causes loose jeans). Now I can attach these suspenders and keep my pants up. AND if I need to lower my jeans for relief purposes, no belt needs to be unbuckled and rebuckled. Now that I have that picture in your brain, know that suspenders have their place. This particular pair is uncomplicated and easy for me to adjust and attach to my pants. Easy to wash too. Drip dry to preserve elasticity. One last thing...for fun, I can wear these suspenders with other pants and use various tie pins, and other pins, stuck through them for a funky fashion statement. Get with the times...suspenders are back in again!

I use these for a suit on Sundays. They clamp well, using teeth to pressure bite into the waistband. I have a long torso and almost have them adjusted all the way out. However, they haven't failed on me yet and do what they're supposed to do!I would expect these to last a while but won't expect them to last years - the elastic is just a little light-duty to expect too much use. Good value for the price, though.

My 85-year-old father-in-law has lost some weight since getting older, and he has been having some trouble keeping his pants up. I got him these suspenders to help with that issue, and he loves them. Now, he doesn't have to bother with a belt that might squeeze him too tightly or about trying to tie them on (he used to spend a lot of time doing this). He clips these on the and then puts on his pants and then moves them over his shoulders like overalls. They stay on great and work great for moving around the house and on his walks!

I ordered these suspenders primarily for use with my slacks and with my tuxedo. The elastic material makes them comfortable, and I found it much easier to adjust the length before putting them on. The clamps are simple to use—just lift the lever, position them over the edge of the pants, and close to secure. These suspenders held my pants up securely for several hours at church, performing well throughout. Given that I plan to wear them only occasionally, they seem durable enough to last. They are affordable, easy to use, and effective so I recommend them for anyone looking for a decent set of suspenders.
