I've been wearing suspenders for a few years. They help support my heavy denim jeans. I prefer them over a tight belt. I've tried many styles, clip, clamp, X and Y on the back, 2", 1". These are great. They stay clamped on. Look nice, to me anyway, and are easy on the shoulders. The one complaint that I have is, Tthey snag, like a nylon if adjusted. Once you find your length, leave them alone.

used every day now for 4 days. The metal hardware seems sturdy, not flimsy at all. The gripping strength of the clasps has remained good so far. The teeth of the clamps are strong and don't look as if they would bend or deform easily. Also, they are slightly rounded on the points which should give more gripping surface while causing less damage to the elastic.Only time can show how long the elastic will function before needing readjusting or if there will be any rusting of metals. While using them I spent a few hours a day climbing under and up and down. They have done their job, no problems. I did not have the problem some have reported of them slipping off. But, I have broad and, square shoulders. I can see where narrow, round-shouldered guys could have that problem, especially if obese too, even with wide straps. I docked one star because at only 5' 11" l almost ran out of adjustment for a comfortable fit. And it was difficult to move the elastic through the adjusting clips.

For too long I blamed my belts for needing frequent tightening and loosening. Then I faced the fact that my problem was my changing body shape, as I aged. I bought this and a second pair suspenders. I wear them over my shirts; therefore they are visible. They are much more comfortable than the belts. I have worn them for about a week. The clips are holding on well. They have not slipped off my shoulders, as thought they might. I purchased the light blue color and my wife says they go well with many of my shirts. Comments from others have been favorable. I should have changed earlier.

I ordered these suspenders in early July. My husband liked them very much and was very happy. but today while wearing one of the clamps fell apart! And now it's too late to return window!So buyer beware.

This is the second pair of these suspenders I have ordered from this same supplier. I LOVE them. Before this, my father struggle with clips that came undone, or flimsy suspenders that didn't support his clothes.Now he has two fashionable pairs of suspenders for different outfits that have strong clasps and easily (and perfectly!) support his pants. Phew.I'll likely purchase more - not because these will wear out - but to give him more fashion choice!
