This is the second MEASUREMAN 2" Dial Size, Glycerin Filled Pool Filter Pressure Gauge, 304 Stainless Steel Case that I have purchased. The first one works really great so when I needed another one it was an easy choice. Great gauge, good price

This is a really nice gage. I always buy liquid filled gages now, they are more reliable and less prone to damage if there are pulsations in the pressure. This one has a more suitable range for my cartridge filter which never gets above 15 PSI. I should have replaced my old gage long ago, this one is much easier to read and has more resolution. When clean my system (in ground with a 1 HP pump and cartridge filter) only runs 2 - 3 PSI. The old gage didn't move off the peg at those pressures. I like to track the pressure when I've just cleaned because its the best way to track how clean the cartridges are.

This gauge worked very well for 3.5 years, then it stopped working. For $12 gauge I'm not going to fret too much, but I would have liked seeing a longer life.

So I did return this but it wasn’t because it was a bad product. I bought it to replace the gauge on my sand filter pump. This is the one my husband said to get. Of course, it was too big. Again, not the companies fault. I didn’t even use it but it was solid. Not thin metal. If it fit, I would have kept it.

This fits the Hayward C-500 Star Clear filter perfectly. It actually works much better than even the original pressure gauge. Perfect fit, no leaks, very accurate. Just make sure you line the threads with teflon tape before screwing it in or else you'll have leaks just as you would any type of pipe fitting running high pressure liquid etc. That's common sense. If you install a pressure gauge without lining the threads with Teflon tape multiple times then complain of leaks that's the fault of the user, not the product.

After 5 years previous Hayward gauge was dead - so wanted to try this one hoping for longer life. It was easy to install and found a reason why the glycerin was not fully filled inside gauge. The filling medium absorbs additional water and expands accordingly. To provide sufficient space for this expansion and to prevent the case from leaking, the case is only filled to 80% – 90%. Hope it lasts for another few years but seems like a quality product for the price.

Quality liquid filled gauge all corrosion free metal construction and vibration dampening design. Replaced cheap plastic,non-weatherproof one that came with my pool filter! ... GREAT!!!😊

Every pool owner should have one of these pressure gauges. Accurate reading and no needle fluctuations due to vibrations. The blue/red band is also a nice to have feature. The price is fair as well provided it last a few years.

I usually buy an 8 dollar pressure gauge with a plastic cover and does not differentiate the higher pressure with a red background. The cheap ones are usually replaced every few years. I just purchased this one and it works perfectly and is very accurate but I have no idea how it will work in a few years. I believe it should be around for quite a few years!
