MY daughter is learning the Euphonium, ( like a tuba with extra steps) and it's hard to know where her notes come in when practicing alone. With this and a soundtrack playing silently in the background it's showing her where the beats come in while looking at sheet music. Was a bit fiddly to learn how to set up, but once you know how (after looking at a few youtube vids,) it's a great help.

I was a little concerned about this being plastic and feeling or looking cheap, but it actually looks reasonably nice and from a little distance arguably passes for real wood. The clicks are loud and the additional bell feature is a neat option that I wasn't used to from metronomes I've used in the past. Overall, I'm happy with the device and the price.

I love this metronome. It's what I had taking lessons as a tot and is still by far the best time keeper. Its easy to use, and I love the wind up. It's simple to adjust and will accommodate any time signature. Also great for kids who can't feel rhythm. It's just beautiful and I'm so happy I chose this metronome.

This mechanical metronome is visually appealing with its nostalgic design and faux mahogany finish, making it a nice decorative piece for a music room. Functionally, it does its job of providing consistent rhythm, with the added bell feature for accenting beats being a useful touch. However, the plastic build detracts from its overall quality, and the click is quite loud, which can be distracting in smaller or quieter spaces. While it’s straightforward to use, the lack of clear tempo accuracy markings limit its practicality for professional use. It's better suited for casual learners or as an aesthetic addition to a music setup.

Time is a crucial element of music. As a drummer, it is also my job. This is a slightly updated version of the "classic" metronome, and while I use earbuds or actual headphones, both for practice and in the studio, an audible and visual cue is a good exercise, and nice when working out on a practice pad. This is a quality, simple, mechanical metronome.......no batteries--you wind it up, and looks nice in my music room. It works well, and is not expensive.Obviously, great for students as well.
