Perfect replacement for Army PC rank. Same size and color as the ones at the PX. Not sure about how long they will hold up from scratches yet. They feel more scratch resistant than the Army ones, but only time will tell.

I bought these to have for my casual BDU's which I still wear for hunting and other outdoor activities such as camping and hiking. Since I was in the Army for 10 years I was a Staff Sgt when I was released and now I have a couple of spare pins. They look exactly like the originals.

The quality is very good, with the size matching mine from 1987. They have the correct subdued appearance rather than the shiny ones that made zero sense. Standard pin-clutch attachment points works on any collar or headgear.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I'm sure these pins can be used in a variety of ways but I'm using one pin on the pocket flap of a couple different jackets. This is just my way of remembering and honoring my Dad who was a Staff Sergeant/platoon leader in WWII. The pins are black, subtle, classy and they are held in place by two prongs on each pin so they pins will not spin around. The backing clips for the prongs are brass colored but of course they are not genrally visible when in use.This is a simple, straightforward item, and I love these!!
