Meguiar's is a well known and trusted brand for car washing/waxing/polishing, and this kit is a good example why. The only thing missing from this kit that would have made it fully comprehensive is a clay bar or clay mit. I am a firm believer that the first time you detail your car, and at least once a year after that is a good clay bar/mit clean up of the entire exterior of the car. I'll save the details, as this is a review of Meguiar's, but look it up if you've never used one.From the car wash to the wax to the tire dressing and detail spray for "in-between" details, this kit gives you high quality and dependable products for a fair price. Meguiar's isn't cheap, but I've also found their products to be of good value, because they work and they last. The included microfiber towel is great, but I strongly suggest you buy a dozen or so, as you will need them, especially if you're fussy like I am about how your vehicle looks.Depending on the size of your vehicle, you should easily get 3 full detail jobs (maybe more) from this kit, and at $50 or so for the kit, that's only $17 or so per detail to keep your car looking great. I highly recommend this kit.

If you are interested in some of the various detailing possibilities for your car to truck, this is a very good kit to get. Then you can decide which products actually make sense in keeping your vehicle looking sharp. For me, since my truck already has ceramic coating, the detailer spray, tire treatment and microfiber towel are excellent choices for that vehicle.Since my wife's SUV does not yet have a ceramic treatment, adding the Wash & Wax and Ceramic Wax sprays make sense for her car. Of course the key to any spray treatment is a really clean car. I like that Mequiar's has an excellent reputation for detailing cars, and the spray products make keeping things clean and shiny that much easier. Be aware that the bottle of car wash in this kit is good for only two washes with a foam cannon. The foam it creates with a 2300 PSI pressure washer with warm water and a 1.1mm orifice is adequate, just a step below a nice, thick shaving cream consistency.After washing my wife's car and then applying the wax, water beaded up nicely.None of these products come close to beating a good ceramic coating for durability, but for those who don't have the coin to spare, these are good alternatives.

Meguiar has put out solid products for the average consumer and this starter kit is in line with that history.Ceramic based coatings and products are all the rage now, but it can be difficult to apply the more "professional" products for an unseasoned DIY enthusiast.Car wash with ceramic wax - does all right, personally I would like a barebones, pH neutral soap without any additives as I would be coating my car afterward. However, this does the job for someone that isn't very interested in more involved external car maintenance. Foams well enough.The other products work decently well and the key thing here is that they can be sprayed on, rather than some of the other products.Will they shine as brilliantly as or last as long as, say a hard paste wax or a professionally installed ceramic coating? No. However, you can get a great shine and clean in significantly less time. Sure, you'll likely have to repeat this again a bit sooner, but this fits a specific niche.TLDR - this is a good starter kit for someone breaking out into car detailing. Won't regret it.

This ceramic starter kit is a great value for the money, if you were to purchase each of these items individually it would be almost double the price of the kit. The ceramic car wash soap works well, it doesn't foam up alot like other soaps, but it is working. You can see the ceramic residue stick to the car after you wash down when you're rinsing it off. The blue bottle of ceramic wax gives your car a great shine, follow the directions closely if you overdue it there will be streaks. I had a film on my windows that would not come off, I had to rerinse then it was ok. The tire dressing works really good, and the ceramic detailer.The package arrived intact with no leakage at all. Overall, a great buy if you're looking to do a ceramic finish on your car.

This set is great! I’ve used meguiars products in the past and have been pleased with the results. The ceramic wax is amazing, goes on and leaves a lasting shine. It stays on for a month in a desert environment and I just reapply after a wash. Water beads right off and makes things easy to clean with wash or the detail spray. The bottle sizes last a good while as well, so for the money it’s great. The tire shine is one of the better ones I’ve used. So far it’s still showing but I don’t have high hopes as I drive a lot. Best of all, they don’t smell like pure chemicals, so it’s tolerable to apply.

Can’t go wrong with this kit. A good selection of cleaners and coatings to do most vehicles. I have used the soap in the past so knew it would work well. The hybrid cuttings actually work very well. The sursy and rinse one was very easy to apply. The tire coating worked very well too. It’s been a week and it’s holding to the tire well. The sealant is beading well when wet. Overall a good kit.

This is everything you need to see if ceramic coatings are right for you. The wash and wax does a nice job of cleaning the car and leaves a bit of a hydrophobic coating (that doesn't last a really long time). Both the detail spray and the wheel coating do a nice job, and are reasonably durable, but not as durable as a semi-pro or professional resin-based ceramic coating. But if you are the casual car-care guy/gal then this is a cost-effective way to clean and shine your car without a tremendous amount of prep or effort.Recommended.
