Back in the day you'd get the equivalent of a very thin garbage can lid for this price. I'm just amazed at this ride. Crisp, clear, concise. Maybe not as glassy sounding as a $600 ride but it's roughly a 6th of the cost and proper. I'm not afraid to use this in the recording process. Now, that bell, ooo that bell. I've used a bell on a lot of my stuff throughout the years, originaly written on a BOSS DR5 then the DR550. Anyways, I've had a trap for a long time but it didn't really match the samples from the machine(s). Well this ride matches it. I'm adding splashes which I habitually use and which match the samples from the machine. Received 8" and have a 6" and 10" coming in the mail. The triple tree stand is expensive so using Gibraltar clamp mounts for now. I'm a guitar player so that's why my kit has lacked these pieces. I highly recommend this 18" ride. It won't steer you wrong. The only thing that's geared towards beginners is the price and that's it. Also geared towards the starving artist, and man, I am hungry.

Not yet sure how it will sound in the mix of my kit, but the bow response sounds decent on first response, and this bell is RIDONKULOUS 🤣🤣 Meinl should swap names with Zildjian for their large bell lines, because this is the real megabell 💖

Considering the cymbal is a big bell ride, I would say that the price is pretty decent. If you hit it hard enough it has a nice crisp bell noise to it. It is a little smaller than I expected but it still gets the job done.
