I had been searching for some bongos that were relatively not too expensive and of good quality. from the reviews and numerous comparisons i did with similarly advertised drums on Amazon I kept ending up with the Meinl Percussion set. I already owned a conga and tumba set from Meinl Percussion (Luis Conte Series) and knew the quality was great so I decided to try the bongos. I was not disappointed. They arrived right away, were packaged very securely and were exactly what was advertised and what I was looking for. The drums came with a tuning wrench and oil. once tuned, they have that crisp "pop" sound that is so typical of the bongos and compliment nicely the congas on the salsa rhythms I like to play. I am very satisfied with them and would recommend the product. I am not professional musician, I play casually for my and my family's personal enjoyment and my review is based solely on my experience with the purchase and use of the product.

These bongos look and sound great. They have a premium feel about them that says "Class".I bought the Meinl seated stand for them as the bongos are quite heavy. This to me complements the overall pleasure playing these bongos.One thing I can guarantee you will not be disappointed with the sound or quality.
