This flashlight has worked well for us. Bought it as a stocking stuffer for our daughter for Christmas more than a year ago. I think I've only changed the battery two or three times since then. It starts to get "blinky" (as my daughter calls it) when the batteries need replacing. But the button is great and easy to use for small hands and now her younger brother wants to use it, too. The flowers design is really cute. She mostly uses it in bed to "read" books at bedtime before she falls asleep (I'm convinced that aside from reading to kids, personal bedtime reading helps grow a reader/book-lover). Now I need to locate a good option for my younger son!

Seems good so far, they redesigned it so the front unscrews and the batterys go under the flower head. I read the other reviews and lots of complaints with batteries not fitting. They definitely corrected that problem and my daughter loves her flashlight and it's not overly bright.

This flashlight is a piece of crap. I was so bummed as its really cute and my daughter loved it! The battery connection is bad, so when screwed on the light doesn't work. Its also really thin plastic, like you could squeeze it too hard and crack it very easily.

The instructions on the advertisement said that there was a screw that holds the batteries in place. There is no screw. The product is a little less sturdy than expected. The batteries seem to bounce around inside the casing so that the light doesn’t stay consistent. Otherwise it’s an okay flashlight. My kids like them.

We let the grand baby play with a regular flashlight and we were scared it was too bright or she would shine it in the dog’s eyes.. got her this and it’s been perfect !

I think the spring part for the battery chamber is too big because it's impossible to get them to fit the way they're meant to. I was just able to shut it with the bump of one barely touching the flat of the other and that is just enough contact to work, but I'm disappointed it doesn't just fit as it's meant to. I question the quality control on this flashlight.

Grand girls loved the torches. The beam is not as strong as the bumblebee torch that they replaced but a great product.
