I was not physically able to retrieve the package from my P.O. Box until two days ago ( 01-14-17 ) so I have only used ONE of the tapes thus far. THAT one, at least, is recording well.( I have learned over the years that you stand a better chance of tapes working well IF you fast forward the tape all the way to the end and then let it rewind all the way back to the beginning BEFORE you ever hit "record." )And I have NO doubts that the package came timely. I've NEVER had any come later than promised.

Tapes worked well. Only problem was getting them out of their box. Each tape was packed into an individual box so tightly that it was a challenge to get it out.

The tapes themselves are perfect. Perfect, crisp, clean recording, and I would order them again. The only con is that most of the tape covers fit so snuggly I had to open them at the seam to be able to remove the tape. I ended up cutting out the bottom end of the cover, and that solves it.

Disappointed in the quality of this item - I realize that video tape is not used as much as it used to be, but Memorex has (until now anyway) been a dependable, high quality brand. 2 of the 5 in this package were unusable straight out of the box :-(

These tapes in the white boxes work much better than the other tapes. The playback is much better too. The other tapes, at times, cease recording and I can only tape one movie (I like to record 3 or 4 movies on 1 tape). I know VHS tapes are being discontinued, so maybe the others have gotten old.

VHS blank tapes increasingly had to come by. We still prefer tape over videodisk (e,g, DVD) for convenience and ease of presentation and recovery,, and occasionally burn DVD copies of taped material with this in mind.

Memorex Brand has been around on our markets for quite a long time. I have not yet tried the recording on them so far. But they should be fine from the experience of the past.
