I'm a seasoned cyclist, 6000 mi/yr. My old leg warmers were nearly useless anymore, stretched out and thin. Even when worn under bike shorts they would slip down my thighs. So I researched these; several name brands I'm familiar with were in the $40-70 range. Heck, that's what I pay for tights! I read the reviews on these, wasn't sure I could trust the sizing, bought 1 size larger than what I thought I'd need. They fit fine, but I probably could have gone 1 size smaller. They seem well made and are quite a bit warmer than my previous leg warmers. No instructions; both of mine were labeled "L", so I wasn't sure if the zipper goes posterior or lateral. Per pics I think the red patch goes anterior, over front of knee, and zipper goes lateral. Have worn several times; still need to wear under bike shorts but these don't slip down at all. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

I have had chronic knee pain for several years. I like to wear short pants and the knees are always exposed, in the hot and cold weather. My main problem is my knees freeze up at night under the ac. If I cover then I get hot. Within 15 minutes of wearing these I could tell a difference. I was originally going to wear them only at night, but I left them on all day and my knees feel wonderful. They work so well for me that it seems they are medicated with pain medication, although they are not. I got 3xl because I am a big person. They are a little big but they do not roll at all at the top or bottom band....I highly recommend them..I plan to get a second pair as a back up. I don't know if I will ever be without them. Great product.

I had to order twice, first order an XL, it was way small then 3XL, the largest they had. Still runs a bit small but it fit well enough. Bought them so I could put them under my street pants to commute to work on a bike in the colder weather. They keep your legs warm enough by keeping the wind from blowing up your legs. Yes you can wear long underwear, but they can get warm once you are in the building and are tougher to undo if you have to go pee. Ask me how I know.Wore them a couple of times and they do the job, not as well as the long johns, but well enough for my needs.

This product was my 4th attempt to provide extra warmth to my legs when cycling. I bought the XXL size. (I weigh about 220 lbs. usually fit best with trousers with a 31" INSEAM.Like a lot of products (presumably made in China), their sizes seem to be based on norms that are smaller than for the average person in the US.While I can imagine that some cyclists with huge thighs might find even the XXL size too small, I found it larger than the largest available sizes for several competing products.I found that these stay up on me,. perhaps because I can pull them up to where my thigh become smaller in diameter as it approaches the crotch. It may also help that there is extra material in the knee so that the action of one's leg when cycling doesn't pull down on the portion above the knee.

I liked these leggings for the first 2 times I wore them, but now one of them had the stitching come loose from the elastic leg opening and it won't stay up on my leg because the rubber now slips to the outside.Too bad, because they did keep my legs warm.

Been wearing them for a few weeks worth of winter countryside gravel cycling at night, and I couldn't be happier. It's like a warm hug for your legs.I'm usually between S and M in US/Euro sizes and I have rather skinny legs, and the M fits like a glove.Last week I wore them in an early morning mountain bike race in very cold and humid weather, and my legs were as happy as they could be.The length is generous (more so than other brands I tried), the gripping elastic at the thights works a charm, and the zipper is a nice detail that I guess will help to avoid overstretching the fabric over time.
