I am planning on going to a renfaire this summer but wanted to get a head start on my costume. The shorts are a little awkward for my taste, but honestly not as bad as I was fearing. I was surprised at how comfortable and light it is. I was afraid I would get too hot in the heat of the summer but this makes it easier on my mind.

Was short on time and this came quick. It did look good for my outfit. Only complain is the pocket size. My phone never felt secure in the pocket. I ended up wearing a satchel to keep my phone in. But good for the price and time of delivery.

These are not super robust, but are light and would be good for cosplay. I would not wear these all the time, but are good for occasional wear. I plan to wear them to the next RenFest and shout about boats and keelhauling a lot.

My husband loves these new shorts/pants. The lattice strings are easy to tighten and loosen. He likes the fact that there are strings for the waistband. There are front pockets, but no back pockets. That was his only gripe, but I told him most pirates don't carry wallets. Their booty comes in chests (LOL).The material is soft and easy to move around in. Overall, they're a big hit with him.

I am happy with these. Just using them as normal wear, not cosplay. The material is like a muslin almost with that soft crinkly look. The waist and bottom hemming is elastically and seems quality as it will hold. The lacing is closed and looks nice. I also like the drawstring waist. The only issue is these are a tad short. I was expecting they comfortably sit below knee, as in the pic, but they are pulling up over the knee at times. And a little more since washing. I am only 5'10" for reference.
