I got this to use as a base that I will be attaching worked metal plates on for a barbarian build. I ordered a size up from their chart which was true to size... The chart said Medium but usually wear large. Ordered large and large fits. Construction is good, saved me the headache of sewing something that will be mostly covered.

I wouldn't plan to work in it. The fabric is only described as a polyester blend- this is a lightweight fabric that would fly in a windy day. It is a reasonable budget kilt for a costume or party.

First, let me say that I have never owned a kilt before, so this is the best kilt I currently have. Lol.Things I like about it: The material is light. It fits decently (not much stretch, but adjustable). And the finishing details look nice.Things I don’t like about it: It’s made from a polyester type material that has a little shine to it and does not mimic heavier materials other kilts are usually made from. The weight of it also makes it capable of giving Maralin Monroe a run for her money when a gust comes through. And if you know anything about what they say about wearing a kilt, others might get more than they bargained for. IYKYKThis kilt is probably good for costume parties but would likely get laughed at in any setting that included more authentic kilts.

I'm a 38 waist, so according to their graph I ordered a medium which should fit me easily. Nope. It doesn't fit at all. It should be long enough at the waist to over wrap around the body quite far (I have other kilts) but this barely overlaps. The "fastener" is Velcro and then has a few straps that snap, of course, that's if you can get it on. But Velcro? Most kilts have hooks or buttons on the inside for you to fasten it.

This is a really nice light Kilt and is exactly as the Product Page described. It seems to be made of Good Quality Materials and has been working great for me. The 5XL just fits my 53 inch waist...barely...lol. I'm very happy with it and do recommend it.
