Comfortable and decent quality as far as I can tell. Definitely order small though. I'm 5' 9", 230 lb, with thick legs. I usually lean towards ordering XL but saw the comments about ordering smaller so I got large this time, and it was still a bit baggier than I intended so I'm gonna return for a medium.

I got these for my husband. Unlike a lot of costume garments, these are made of cotton which I like. They are a nice milk chocolaty brown color with drawstring. When I bought them, I checked the size chart. My husband’s waist is around 36 – 37 inches. According to the chart, that is size XL. We were surprised when these ended up being much larger. You could easily fit a 40 – 42 inch waist in an extra large, and because of the larger than expected size, they are very baggy. The next size down L states 34.65 inches but judging by the XL’s those would have been a better fit. It seems that your regular size (in our case L) is probably going to be best.Otherwise, these are really nice. My husband is thinking he might have to bind the calf area with lacing similar to the drawstring to make them a little more form fitting. If you get the right size, these should be great. Pricing is reasonable too.

Wore these to a summer Renaissance Faire and they were very comfortable and lightweight. Baggier than I would like, but overall pleased with the pants. Fit is better than other similar pants.

These are very comfortable pants. The material feels nice. It is similar to lightweight sweatpants and is not hot. The pants fit loosely and do not bind anywhere. They are excellent cool-weather pants for everyday wear. The side pockets are functional and hold lightweight objects without pulling the pants down and threatening a wardrobe malfunction.The workmanship is good, with all seams done well. The hems are even, with no loose material or thread ends. The drawstring is well-designed and the correct size. The waistline is stretchy and does not ball up but stays flat without cutting into the skin. The material color is nice and even. I got mine in Army Green, and the color is as expected. The product description is accurate. They fit as expected. My wife washed them on the regular setting in a washing machine and dried them in the dryer on the permanent press setting. The size and color have not changed.I do not consider these to be dress pants or pants I would wear to more formal events, but they are great for any casual occasion, home use, and costuming. Overall, I like these pants, and I would get them again.
