I purchased this for a trip to the local Renaissance Fair in Virginia. It fits really well. I wear a large t-shirt so I ordered this in a large and it's the perfect size. I do have one issue though that I'd like to point out. The string they show in the picture looks like it's loose and relaxed. It fits the style of the shirt. But that's not what they sent. What I got looks more like green dress shoes, shoelace. It's not the same color as the shirt. I don't think it clashes but it's definitely not the one in the picture.I get that sourcing changes and you can't always track down the same materials, but it would take 2 seconds for them to add a note on the listing. Or change the images of the shirt to reflect the new string. Even adding a picture of what the new string look like would have been helpful. not doing so. Feels like false advertising and it rubs me the wrong way.

I purchased the blue shirt for my husband for the MN Ren Fest! Not only is this shirt a great quality but it's very light and breathable. The string that comes with it is actually great quality as well!Beautiful color, and easy to wash!Also, my hubby looks fantastic ðŸ˜

I’ve been to MANY Renaissance/Fae festivals/Faires over the years and I typically go “all outâ€; chainmail armor, layered clothing, etc. and it can just get so heavy and HOT, sometimes. I’ll never forget seeing a guy at one of the Maryland Faires loooong ago, that went low key - shirt and pants and hat - and he looked COMFORTABLE.Well, after years of “dressing to impressâ€, I got over it and decided to just play it cool and comfy. So, I started with this shirt!I’m 6’, 200lbs and got the XL. Fits decent, though maybe just a LITTLE small? I got away with it, though. If you’re less than 200, you’ll look quite svelte in this! I’ll be getting more as it’s pretty stylish and I’d not be adverse to wearing it as “everyday fashionâ€.

I really hope this product doesn't flip in quality like most of them on Amazon, but you are getting what you pay for. The quality is good, and it is as shown on the photo and videos. A must purchase for those who want what feels like 100% cotton non-stretch material.

This worked out for my Halloween costume, but it is on the longer side and tight at the bottom, so I'd order a size larger than you think you need based on the size chart if you have wider upper hips. That said, I was able to fold the bottom of the shirt up inside and this resolved the issue without looking bulky. It fit as expected through the shoulders, chest, and waist. The fabric isn't shiny but still isn't a quality I'd suggest for regular wear, if you're looking for something to incorporate into your regular wardrobe.

The color is very bright (red) and I would recommend washing it by hand the first time. The size is right and the shirt fits very well. The material is linen of good quality. I can only recommend the purchase.
