This garage door cable protector is really well constructed. The slot fits my Tesla charger well. I always had the issue with the garage door denting and deforming my charging cable and was worried that one day it would short out the conductors or break through the rubber sleeve. This protector guide is am easy solution for it. My only gripe is that it’s quite tall and it bends the bottom part of the garage door and I feel like if it’s under the door for so long that it’ll end up permanently bending my aluminum garage door bottom. You can also see that there is quite a bit of a gap when in use. This can cause bugs, spiders and over all just air to come into the garage, the solution I’ve been doing to mitigate this is to use some towels to fill the gaps and then close the garage over it all. Overall it’s a decent value for protecting an expensive charging cable.

I didn't think much of shutting my garage door on my Tesla charging cable until I began to notice some marks on the outside rubber cord. I figured that if there was enough pressure on that outside rubber that good things were probably not happening to the wires inside the cord! The design of this device is great in that there is plenty of room for the cord to slide underneath it. The curved surface of it lets the garage door come down around it easily. It's also small enough to store just by the garage door for times where I will not be using it. So glad I got a hold of this!

Sturdy not too high and not too big that (most) critters can't get through. I would recommend stuffing it with some paper or other material if you are concerned about mice (they only need an area the size of a dime to get through.). wish this included a gasket or something.

If you’re tired of your EV charger cable getting squished by your garage door like a pancake, the Meonum Cable Garage Door Pass Protector is here to save the day. At $17, it’s a small price to pay to avoid the heartbreak of a damaged Tesla charger.Installing it was a breeze—just pop it in place, and your cable now has a safe little tunnel to pass through. No more worrying about it getting crushed! It fits perfectly with the Tesla Gen 3 Mobile Charger, and I appreciate the thoughtful design. However, let’s be real—it’s just a piece of plastic, so don’t expect it to solve all of life’s problems (like why you can never find a parking spot at the grocery store).### **Pros:**✅ Easy to install—takes minutes✅ Protects your expensive charger cable from damage✅ Works well with Tesla Model 3/Y/X/S mobile chargers✅ Fair price for the peace of mind### **Cons:**⌠It’s essentially a fancy piece of plastic (but hey, it does the job)⌠Some users might want a slightly sturdier materialOverall, this is one of those “why didn’t I get this sooner?†buys. It’s not flashy, but it’s practical and keeps your charger cable safe. If you’ve ever winced at the sight of your garage door closing on your charger, do yourself a favor and grab one of these.

This serves as a piece of mind for me when I use my Tesla mobile charger to charger the car outside of the garage. It's a glorified piece of plastic that provides added protection from the garage door smashing your Tesla cord. Hate that you have to even purchase something like this but it's super useful! It's a must need for the peace of mind to extend the longevity of your Tesla charging cord, especially for those that either have the Wall charger or HEMO 14-50 outlet inside the garage. Overall, it serves a valuable purpose.

This cover is perfect to protect the EV charging cable in the garage. The car is usually outside but the charger is inside. I needed something to protect it so it doesn’t bend, but also needed to keep the garage door closed because of the HOA.An easy fix with this hard plastic cover.

This is perfect for my Tesla mobile charging cord for my EV. We have to run the cord out of the garage to the car in the driveway and it’s short enough to not get in the way of the sensors but tall enough to protect the cord enough to not worry about it. It’s not the most sturdy piece of plastic but it does work like a charm to not worry about squishing the cord in the garage door

Looks like a dupe of the Spigen product, but a few bucks cheaper. Plastic overall seems sturdy enough. Cable channel is also wide enough allow some movement, but otherwise it fits my Tesla mobile charger cable with extra room to spare.
