This is a super underwater flashlight but not a great camera. For the price a good flashlight. The camera is for poor pictures and maybe proof if something happens while diving!

Love this! Just got back from scuba trip in Cozumel and used this for the first time. It’ll take me a bit to be comfortable with the video being on or off because the lights are a bit hard to see in the water, but the flashlight was great to have. I lighted up dark places for my buddy to use his go-pro. I’ve only used it for 6 dives, but everyone on the boat was jealous of me! I’m very happy I bought this!Apparently, I did not submit this review, which allows me to update it. I just got home from Aruba with zero pictures because the camera/flashlight leaked and flooded. After I put in the chip, I made sure the o-ring was in position and I screwed it on tightly. The first dive, the flashlight worked momentarily and then nothing. When I was out of the water, I opened it up because there was water behind the protective covering for the lenses and light. The o-ring was a crinkled up mess. I will be in touch with the company that sent it to me, through Amazon. Lot of money for something that only worked a couple of times. I am not advising anyone not to get this, because I loved it, initially. I'm just frustrated because I cant' use it, for now.

I should of listened to the review that sad great concept but misses the mark. + Camera and light are nicely made - 3 buttons sound great but inlets it's dark you can't tell if the light is on off blue or red. - didn't thinking would miss a screen but with having no ides what your capturing until you get back to a computer, it takes some learning and missed opportunities. - camera even with red filter is lack luster my wife had a gopro 5 that took better phones and videos.- needs image stabilization.

Nice and durable. I like the feel and it is built well. I have not tried the camera yet

First off the light is pretty dang BIG. Its not too bad once you realize that you've got two 1000 lumen dive lights and an underwater camera... But you may be taking a pound or so out of the BCD to compensate. ;)All in all the light is a pretty cool idea. There are some downsides in that if there is a lot of particulate in the water having the light and the camera so near one another on the same axis is exactly what you do not want. But for many divers in clear tropical waters this won't be too much of an issue. The wide angle light is only 1000 lumens and thus it doesn't go very far... The attached image does have the light on and I'm not very far away but the light didn't really help matters much. As well there is no method to attach a magenta filter onto the camera to help when in green water lakes. This would help things a lot because the white balance of the camera doesn't allow it to correct for these situations without such a filter. If you're used to the Hero 6 Black or Hero 7 Black from GoPro you're probably going to be pretty disappointed. But if you're diving in fairly clear well lit locations it is a pretty nice camera. On land it gets good shots with decent color. But once in the water my limited experience with it left me wishing for a lot more. That being said the price point on this device when you consider that you're getting lights and a camera is pretty good.Other things to consider. This device has no microphone so none of your video will have any audio what-so-ever. Also this device has no clock to speak of so all of your files will have the same date and time stamp making finding what you want a little harder. If you wanted to you can edit a text file that the light puts onto the card once a day so that your dives are tagged for each day... But who has time for that? I ended up returning and getting a Hero 7 Black and I'm much happier with the wifi download (not having to disassemble to get video), the ability to review stuff on the go pro, and MUCH better quality (even without magenta or red filters in place). It should also be noted that the micro SD card goes into the head of the unit and is in a counter sunk well which makes it a bit more tough to get out. Especially with cold hands!Really wanted it to be awesome but the guys at GoPro have spent a lot more time optimizing their product for use underwater and it really shows.

Yes, this isn't a perfect camera/light! As a scuba diver, underwater photography isn't my strong point- so were a perfect match! It does have it's flaws, such as setting the date on the downloads! It PRODUCES an AVERAGE picture taken by MAYBE average photographer!SO IT'S PERFECT!
