My dog has allergies to all kinds of foods. It’s nice to see the ingredients have nothing she’s allergic to, and she loves this stuff . And is a little better buy than the stuff my wife was getting for her!

I order the Thanksgiving meal consistently for our dog but received beef. I thought that I must have made a mistake, and we were out of food, so I used it. This can upset the dog's digestive system, but she seemed to be fine and enjoyed it. The only problem is that I would like to return to her normal food as she seems to be putting on more weight. Now that I am ordering again, I see that I did not make a mistake placing the order. Our baby is happy and in good health, so I am fine.

I have used this dog food for my dogs for about three years when I stopped cooking their food and didn't want to go back to kibble. The dogs like it fine - one dog will eat anything, the other doesn't care for this cold so I take the chill out of the refrigerated portion by microwaving for about 15 seconds. It's great to have cans for travel and storage. There was a recent price increase of about $10/case in the past few years and it is very expensive now. I'm looking into healthy alternatives.

Several times I have bought a case of Wingalings on Amazon when the food in each of the cans has been very sour smelling. There was also a difference in the appearance of the food in and out of the can. When I opened the bad cans, the food was at the bottom and the “gravy†was a dull color. I took pictures of the food out of one such can and the food out of another can from a separate case. I think the pictures speak due themselves. Too bad they are not scratch and sniff, but the pictures tell the tale.It does seems that Merrick has a consistency problem with the quality of its food. So, if you buy a case if Merrick, be sure and open a can right away because there always is a return date deadline, if, in fact, Amazon requires a return. Be cautious and if you think the food is not good, toss it. When I opened the cans that had bad food, there was no question as to whether the food was bad. It made me want to throw up. Just be aware that Merrick does sell bad cases of dog food. In 2018, I called Amazon, the vendor and Merrick to report the first case of spoiled dog food bought, but Merrick still is letting spoiled dog food have a pass and is sending it on to unsuspecting consumers and their innocent pets.The bones in the Wingaling cans are not a Merrick mistake. They are supposed to be there. They are very soft, sort of like the round bones in cans of salmon.Merrick did raise the price per ounce on the Wingling when they changed their product from a 13.2 oz can to a 12.7 oz can. I have had bad food in both size cans.
