It seems that the seller took some pains to make sure none of the pictures showed anything that this hook could be scaled to. As you can see from the pictures, this thing is a little bigger than my hand. You're not going to be able to pull many weeds or anything else on a single throw.Frankly, I wasn't counting on this thing to do too much for the price. It is stainless steel, folds compactly, which is neat, and the whole thing is steel - so no plastic to break. The welds on the fins look decent but if you snag a large boulder or something, good luck.I don't regret getting this as I have an entire arsenal of tools to fight my pond weeds with so this thing doesn't have to do all that much to pull its weight. I'm sure situations will arise where a little finesse with a smaller tool might come in handy.This tool has limited real world uses but I still would not say it's not worth getting. It does have a pretty robust build for its size.

This works great in the pond getting lilly pads out. Just wish it was a little bigger.
