We have large, very strong Cane Corsos. I always worry about them breaking their colors, coming out of their collars, or something failing. I feel much more secure using their collar and prong collar while utilizing this item hooking them together as a fail safe.I like that they are black and a good length as to not hinder the prong collar from working properly. Would be good for collar to harness as well. They seem to be made well. Strong. I haven't had to find out yet but feel confident they would hold up temporarily until I hooked lead back into backup collar. Recommended!!!

I have a 50 pound GSD mix puppy. This gives me peace of mind in case his harness breaks. Very strong, solid links and the perfect length to attach his collar to his leash and harness. Not too heavy, either. The color matches his collar and harness.

Bought this to attach my dog’s prong collar to his regular collar as a back up in case the prong were to snap off somehow. I don’t foresee the prong snapping off in any way but it provides peace of mind when taking him on walks due to his pulling ways. This way I know for sure I’m not loosing my dog in any way!

Lightweight and secure. It makes dog training easier for us especially switching leashes. It gives us the security in case one connection breaks and the secondary piece can keep secure.

Bought these as soon as I saw them bc my dogs range from 100-150lbs. I have dealt with reactivity and fear and rather than the cheap material clips that break instantly, these are amazing! Will never buy another safety clip other than these again. Buying a second order now that I know the quality. As someone who has been in a situation where a prong collar has broke open/snapped I can honestly say I would feel more than confident with this as my backup. For the few dollar difference, if your dog uses a prong for any type of training I wouldn't ever go for anything else, this is more than enough for a medium breed. My guys are XL American bullies and I trust these clips. I've never felt confident with any other safety clip. These are solid and heavy and you won't regret spending the extra few bucks.

I ordered the DEYACE Metal Dog Safety Collar Clip because my 6 mo. Standard Poodle pup will sometimes shirk off her harness. The collar clip provides sturdy insurance and peace of mind when out for a walk because it attaches to her harness at one end and the other end to the metal ring of her neck collar. If the pup shirks out of her harness, I now have standby backup because her harness is attached to her collar by the DEYACE Metal Dog Safety Collar Clip. This safety collar clip is heavy duty and well made.

They are made exactly how they said they’re gonna be made. The metal seems a bit heavy and sturdy it’s for sturdy strong dogs. My dog not so sturdy and not so strong so therefore it wasn’t a goodbye for me.

Just received these yesterday to help secure a small, 2.25mm prong collar. However, they are quite bulky and heavy and I haven't fully decided if I'll keep them. My dogs are only 65 pound Spaniels and the weight of these might be a bit too much, with the additional 2 collars around thier necks. More suitable for a larger dog and larger size prong. Photo shows the size compared to a 3/4" collar. If you own a GSD, with a 1" collar and a large prong, this is what you're looking for.
