To shorten the collar length, remove links, or use additional individual links to enlarge. Additional links must be purchased separately.
FEATURES AND FUNCTIONALITY:
The collar features:
- Easy-On assembly chain for training effect;
- Two O-rings at the end of the assembly chain for leash connection and collar enclosure;
- Central plate for even distribution of pressure of the collar prongs.
The Herm Sprenger Easy On model of the pinch collar allows an easy application of the collar on the dog’s neck because the assembly chain expands into a wide opening. This function allows you to place the collar over the dog’s head without disconnecting prong links.
With the proper training, this pinch collar for dogs is a safe and effective behavior correction tool that helps you control and train your dog.
It is recommended to use a backup collar while training your dog with the pinch dog collar.

The Herm Sprenger Black Stainless Steel Dog Prong Collar is amazing for training my dog. The black color looks great.It is super simple to put on and take off. It fits well and works perfectly to help with training. I’ve noticed my dog listens much better on walks now.Highly recommend it! It’s a great tool and built to last!

I only use Herm spranger collars , brand recommended by trainer. Easy on and off , great fit and functionality. This is the second one I have brought I use daily on both my dogs.

Herm Sprenger has always been my go-to for prong collars. About a year ago, I gave mine to my grandparents for their new pups and showed them how to use it. Recently, after going through a divorce and moving, I found myself needing a prong collar again. I initially bought a cheap one, but it didn’t perform as expected.Finally, I had some extra money and decided to invest in this one! I’ve had my eye on the black version for a while, especially since I have a black German Shepherd. I love that it’s discreet and doesn’t draw attention. I also needed a collar that’s easier to put on, as I struggle to hook and unhook prongs on my own.So far, this collar has been fantastic. I removed two prongs to fit him, and it stays in place perfectly. It’s a bit smaller than the cheaper one I tried, and I feel like it offers more "precision" in training—if that makes sense. I highly recommend this collar for anyone serious about training who wants a durable, high-quality prong collar that’s easy to take on and off.

First let me start by doing a basic review of the collar. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing. It was clear that Sprenger was the way to go, and the craftsmanship certainly backs this up. It just feels "heavy duty" without actually being too heavy. Each prong is perfect and there are no sharp spots or imperfections. Unfortunately I have not been able to use it yet since I was sent the wrong model by accident. That leads me to the next part of this review. MAKE SURE YOU BUY FROM DOGSPORTS GEAR! I contacted them through Amazon to let them know of the error. I received a response via email apologizing for the mistake (it did not take long for them to get back to me either). I was told that first thing Monday morning they would have the shipping department send out the collar I ordered. As it turns out, the one I ordered was just a little too small, so I responded back that I appreciated it but I wasn't sure if I also would need to get more links or if I was better off getting a larger size. They ended up shipping me both options so I could chose and send back the one I didn't want to keep with the collar I originally received. What company takes that good of care of their customers? Apparently DogSport Gear does. Seriously cannot say enough good about this company. So to summarize, great pinch collar, outstanding company to buy it through.

Get the one where the ends are already connected with ad ring o other than that it works great. My dog still pulls mildly but it's about 90 percent better. It works and he does not mind it at all and no it does not hurt him at all. When I grab it he gets excited because he knows it's walk time. Nice high quality. Rounded prongs.
