I ordered the prong collar but it was 3 links too short so I ordered the extra links. They arrived on time and were just like described. They fit perfectly and now I can use it on my dog. Very happy with the purchase!

Have always used these “pinch†collars. This size is my preference. Smaller is actually easier to engage therefore requires fewer corrections & leads to much quicker training. My Mal puppy actually gets excited when it is taken off the hook. He enjoys “work time†& acts a bit snotty when he knows I didn’t have to use much or at all. Smart but a true testament to being effective while allowing the dog to choose to engage or comply & build Good behavior habits quickly. Also works just as well on larger & older dogs. BUT Expect the 1st or 2nd use to receive a temporary rebuttal followed by a true sense of “make your handler happy†behavior modifications that carry on without it & rapidly becoming permanent! (well as long as you are disciplined in your consistency of command expectations!!!)Oh did I mention these things are incredibly durable.

Well made. Proper fit. Sort of easy to add or remove from existing collar which means it's just right. Other links are either too easy & fall out of collar (releasing it) or points are too sharp. These have effective blunt prongs, not evil points! The idea is to remind the dog by making him briefly uncomfortable, not to wound him. I used to think prong collars were evil becuz I saw people misuse them. But my trainer educated me & they are wonderful tools.

This smaller, lighter collar works well with my 80lb English Lab. Because it is a smaller weight or thickness collar, I needed to order extra lengths to give it a bigger diameter to get around her neck. It only took one extra link for that purpose. Wanted the thinner prongs because they don’t hurt her on walks and just having the collar present on her neck keeps her from pulling me into the ditch. I rarely, rarely have to tug on the collar, but if she isn’t wearing it, she is just too rambunctious to walk her. So for me, this prong collar is perfect, and for her, she gets to enjoy three mile hikes and there is no doubt in my mind that she enjoys it…

It's kinda difficult to review this item since it can only do or fail to do its expected job. The measurement given was the same as what I needed and expected. It feels as though it is made of stainless steel like described, though I did not look for the typical SS ID on the links. The weight gives the impression of well-made, long-lasting links. One would only expect someone with knowledge to the use of the links to buy the items, however, if improvement for the seller would be suggested, I would state they should send an instruction card illustrating how to insert the new links onto the collars they plan to use. Other than that, I absolutely recommend this seller and their product(s).

I have an 80 lb Shepherd mix with the normal 2.25 mm prong collar they expect you to have a dog that has a 12-in neck buying one set of these made that normal prong collar fit him and it works wonderfully. for all dogs you should use a 2.25 mm prong collar because it gives you more tension to pull the dog away from any distractions.using a 2.25 mm prong collar has changed his life and we've tried a 3.2 we've tried a 3.0 but the 2.25 mm prong collar changed him for the better

I use a prong collar to walk my large rambunctious dog, as otherwise she can pull me off my feet when lunging for a squirrel/bird/rabbit etc.The Sprenger collar is the gold standard for prong collars. High quality, and shaped to be effective without harming your furry friend.My furry friend has put on some weight and her collar was a bit tight, so I was pleased to be able to buy these extension pieces on Amazon. They arrived quickly and were easy to click into place.

This product is as advertised. Works with the Sprenger collar I have for my dog. It's a little costly considering its almost the same price for 3 as it was for the whole collar but it was needed for my growing pup.
