Haven't used it very much yet, but so far, it's proven to be very kink-resistant with acceptable flow. OD (stainless steel hose) is 0.62 inches, so the estimated ID is 1/2", so be congnizant that if you're using it on a low-pressure system / zone, your flow may be less than expected if you'd heretofore been using a 5/8" hose.

I am loving this metal garden hose, for 2 reasons. Firstly that it is made of metal, so it does not kink or pinch when you pull it along, secondly because it has a built in valve, so I can turn the hose off and change the hose head without having to walk back to the tap to turn the water on and off.This hose because of its design allows me to get the watering done faster, enough that you notice the difference. I have a large garden that I need to hose every other day. Because of this hoses design and the built in valve I am cutting roughly 10 minutes off the usual amount of time it takes me to get through watering everything.The hose looks and feels like nice quality, the ends of the hose are made of metal and feel sturdy when you are swapping the hose heads. The only thing that looks and feels cheap is the green hose head. I suspect it will break in no time, but I consider that item and extra so it does not effect my opinion of this very nice quality and easy to use garden hose.The hose is light weight and very easy to handle and pull along. It does not kink or pinch as you move around the garden. I think this metal garden hose is quite simply great. It does the job efficiently and with the built in valve it has reduced the amount of time I have to stand outside watering all the plants and veg. If you hose a lot, and have to change the hose head to water different plants, then you may want to try this hose out.

After using a similar stainless steel hose in the past, I already knew I loved the kink-free, tangle-resistant, and lightweight nature of metal garden hoses. This stainless steel jacketed hose is far superior to fabric covered expandable hoses. It is much lighter and easier to maneuver than rubber hoses.The construction of this hose is very similar to stainless steel shower hoses.It has flexible rubber strain/bend guards firmly attached to brass fittings at each end of the hose.The male end of the hose includes a 3/8" opening ball valve for on-off use. The female end fitting has an opening of 21/64".The adjusrtable plastic spray nozzle has 10 different patterns. It works very well.Three spare hose washers are also included.This lightweight, no-kink hose is easily stored in a bucket when not in use.I am very pleased with this quality hose/sprayer combination.Recommended.

A lot of flexible hoses on the market tend to eventually blow out because they have a fragile inner tube held in place by a woven fabric jacket. This metal hose deals with the blowout problem by making the outer protective layer, a flexible, stainless steel jacket. This hose is not unlike the hoses you would see accompanying a handheld shower head - just longer. It's about the same size diameter and for that reason doesn't have the GPH capacity like you would see with a typical garden hose.For our purposes, where we needed a hose to be able to spray off a patio and to water flowers, this product was ideal. It hasn't been in service for a real long period of time so we'll see how it holds up but for now, it performs as expected.

This hose is great for usage around the house. It is very lightweight. It is just the right length and not bulky at all. It doesn’t feel like metal more of a plastic to be honest. It doesn’t tangle easy. The included sprayer works great. I love that it has a shut off. Great buy for a great product.
