After hurricane blew down our fence we were looking for something we could use to help keep the fence together. This worked great.

While more expensive than the galvanized pipe strapping tape I've used before, this is a nicer product. I like that there is a pattern with different sizes of holes, allowing smaller screws to be used, or not having to hunt down washers. The small holes were just over 1/8", so I drilled them out to 5/32" to rivet pieces to a auxiliary battery tray I was building to secure the battery to the tray. It seems that they chose 3mm and 7mm for the hole sizes, nether of which quite match my rivets. Easiest to cut with a cutting wheel on a grinder. They can also be cut with shears, but the edge wasn't nearly as clean and needed deburring and straightening with that method. I touched up the ends after cutting with a flap wheel sanding disc on my die grinder. After unpacking and cutting the ziptie holding the coil, it immediately wanted to unspring and sproing out like a clock spring. Definitely not the same as the galvanized tape I'm comparing it to. I managed to pack the remaining tape back into the box for now, but this will definitely require a containment strategy or large place to hang or store. While described as pipe hanging tape, this product has many applications and the black coating and high strength steel make for more attractive and resilient uses. I'll enjoy finding uses for the remaining 48 ft, then consider reordering.

This strapping is wider and thicker than what I can find in my local hardware stores. And when you take in the length, it is cheaper than the same length of the cheap galvanized strapping I can by locally

This strapping is great for hanging pipes and thousands of other things. I mainly use straps like this for temporary and sometimes permanent repairs around the ranch and in the shop. It's very strong and doesn't stretch. Very pleased with this strapping. Highly recommended.

This is nice galvanized strapping. It works just as good as any other galvanized strapping. I’ve used in the past. It is a great thickness and comes with a very long length for a good price.

I didn't get this for its intended purpose, which is for pipe support, but I use it for all sort of things. Essentially, a nice in between solution between a zip tie and a metal bracket. It's great for securing objects from tipping, strapping objects to pipes, additional support, repairs to metal cabinets (I don't weld), I keep finding new uses for strapping besides the obvious. I wanted black, because if I'm using it indoors or even in the workshop, or on something better, it's less conspicuous than galvanized. It is thick, so be prepared to cut it with tin snips or something similar, and of course you're going to have a sharp edge, so would either file, sand or otherwise grind it a bit so you don't cut yourself. Finally, the hole pattern is so much better for these purposes because you not only have two different sizes but the two smaller holes are side by side which helps prevent lateral movement and twisting. I'm pretty happy with this, and wasn't even aware strapping came in black.

This is a very simple product, but the double small holes came in handy. The strapping is heavy duty and does not bend in ways it shouldn't, but it does flex enough to wrap PVC. Very good product and would recommend to anyone in need of strapping. Certainly with the double small holes. It allows for extra functionability of the strapping.
