This is just the right size for heating up 2 cups, which is perfect for a cup of soup and making a small amount of sauce. I like the handle and spout which makes it easy to pour with a hot liquid in it. The only downside is that it is a little flimsy.

I have a Verizon FIOS box in the sidewalk outside my house. I guess they serviced it because they did not secure it and it did not close all the way and every time someone stepped on it it would crash. TRhis key allowed me to secure the lid shut and resume my peace!

It’s stupid the water meter main is locked with unique bolts and in an emergency someone has to be dispatched. This cuts out the middle man!

Exactly what I needed to access the shutoff valve for my irrigation system.

This Rsoise Meter Box Key is a constructed of heavily galvanized steel. It should prove virtually impossible to damage or destroy under any normal use situation. This is not a traditional "curb key" which is used to open and close most curbside water valves, at least in our area. Those have a blade type cutoff and require a traditional "curb key" normally sold with a T handle. Here you have two different Penta Head Security Bolt wrenches in 7/8" and 1-1/8" sizes. The latter will likely work with 1" as well. These are most commonly used on utility enclosures, transformers, etc. including those which may be closed at ground level. The Penta Head bolts can be a real pain to try to open if you do not have the correct tool, especially if they are the slightest bit tight. These are often recessed, and will resist using plyers, etc. to turn them. This purpose made tool makes opening quick work. This wrench has a pry tip, which can be used to get under and lift the edge of a heavy metal ground plate up, or even to apply gentle pressure to break the sticky seal which often develops when a gasket sealed door is left closed for some time. There is also a small hole in the tool, to allow it to be tethered to a tool belt, or to attach a strap to prevent dropping it if working aloft. This is a well-made tool. Make sure it is what you need in your area before buying. The price is reasonable and market. It's worthy of five stars.

Though I haven't had any difficult ones that I really needed to bear down on, so I don't know how it will hold up.
