These are quality made and durable , they pulled easily and worked great, the only problem was finding the correct drill size for a the panel.

I have only used one of these rivet nuts and here is what I found:I first tried to install the rivet nut with a common chinese made M6 bolt and a nut. Although this plan should work, it did not work for me with the bolt parts I used. Turns out that the strength of the bolt I used was not enough to compress the rivet nut and twice the threads of the bolt stripped. I now know that a stronger bolt (grade 8 or maybe even grade 5 +) is required if you do not have the proper crimping tool.Once I had the proper tool, the installation was a breese and the rivet nut worked great.I used stainless steel because I used it in the engine cavity of my truck and I knew it was going to get exposed to water and possibly battery acid. I think an aluminum rivet nut would probably have also been suitable for this application and would probably have compressed more easily.

These appear to be good quality. But you'll need something more than a hand tool. They're quite stout. I'm ordering aluminum ones to get me over, and will eventually use a pneumatic or long-handled manual tool with these.

,,,,you will love these rivet nuts because they come in such flimsy plastic parts trays that they are mixed up when you get them so you will have hours of fiddly enjoyment sorting them out in front of the TV. Even if only one case has been actually broken in transit like one of mine was, the other will be so flimsy that the nuts will be mixed up inside it for your puzzling pleasure.The actual nuts themselves work fine and I will be buying more of them.
