Showed up on time, delivered carefully, well packaged.The overall quality was quite a bit higher than I had expected, mic’ed out exactly on spec, was the alloy promised, with excellent finish. Fit perfectly into recesses machined. Seems to perform well. I am very pleased with this purchase.Warning! Please order parts after doing due diligence. These are low-carbon stainless, great for some things, perhaps not the best for others. Despite my happiness, they might not be for your needs. Do the work.

I had purchased a rivet nut set with the tool and as you can see the silver rivet nut that came with the kit was much softer material. The carbon rivet nut (black) withstood a lot more torque. This was torquing an M12 at 55 foot pounds. When I went to remove the bolt it had completely cross threaded in the cheaper rivet nut. The carbon rivet nut held up to the torque and kept its shape.

There are many holes in the walls and framing of my Promaster van. Many of which are just the right size for an M5 rivet nut. I have added attachment points all over by just popping these in. Many of the interior panel plastic moulding fasteners went into holes this size, I replaced with M5 screws. M5 is quick and easy to install, and large enough and strong enough for many many uses. These blend in transparently with the dark paint seamlessly.

This nut was installed in a 13mm hole without issue. It worked perfectly to repair a stripped frame mounting hole for an M10 x 1.5 tapped hole. I wish the vendor would supply some reference for the stroke distance. I used another vendors dimensional data to calculate what the stroke distance for this nut should be based on my material thickness.

1/10 of them won't thread all the way through, maybe because of the colored coating.? Either way.. Definitely a pain if you already got them halfway clamped into fiberglass. So, make sure you test the threads on each one before installing.
