I bought this for my RV and it works great. The screen was way too tight to the RV and the spring attachments too awkward for me to make work, so I had some aluminum wire that I used instead. I first installed a piece of wire around the heater vent and then the two ends back out through the screen holes; than I twisted/tied the wire on the outside of the screen and it holds perfect - also easy to remove and replace. The mesh is small enough to stop most bugs - maybe not a small gnat? Other than the spring attachment method, I don't have any negatives about this product. I would definitely buy this again.

Be prepared for an elegant dance between the springs, the tool and the holes of the cover that will test your patience. I should have started a timer.This is a Domestic hot plate that has the one vent hole. This screen fit to the outside of the plate perfectly. The issue is trying to find the right placement, far enough away from the center, in which to attach the springs and give it enough tension. You cannot attach the springs directly above the center of the furnace hole. The springs are too big. Like other comments, some if the holes in the mesh cover will accept the tool more easily than others, keep poking.It looks good, as if it is a factory install. I guess we'll see how it lasts on my trip home. It is not a hard install, just a bit finicky.

Perfect size to fit over the furnace exhaust. I didn't use the springs - just some heavy gauge wire. Now I know mice won't get through.

The basket should have a soft plastic edge material so as not to scratch the RV surface. The springs are too soft of a material so they do not hold their tension during install. I order stainless wire and used it to hold it on. I am getting some automotive door edge molding to prevent the scratches.

Was easy to install looks good I think it will help another. But I thought the springs where a little weak.

The anchor springs are a bit flimsy and don’t really give a solid mount, I suggest enforcing with metal wire. Otherwise it’s a perfect fit!
