Please know that this doesnt fit "snug". It "snaps" into place when the fan is turned on. I had no problem installing it in my old microwave/hood unit. Obviously, some smells still come through, but it is a tremendous improvement.

This filter matches the GE JX81D filter size in all dimensions. Good low cost alternative to the OEM filter.

Took some time to figure out how to replace the filter, because apparently my microwave had been running with one for 7 years (leaving a nice grease stain on my ceiling). However once I figured out how to slide it into the grooves under the cover, it fits perfect, and will hopefully alleviate some of the grease issues.

J'ai commande ces filtres pour replacement pour mon four micro onde de type hotte Cafe 1.7 Cu. Ft. Convection Over-the-Range Microwave Oven. Super facile d'installation, juste a enlever deux petites vis dans le haut, et placer le nouveau filtre a la place de l'ancien.Ce filtre convient au format, prix abordable (filtres d'origines ne sont plus disponible). Et livraison rapide.

Placed the order yesterday and it arrived today-sans Prime. It fits our Kenmore microwave despite being a mm or so smaller.

This filter was for my Kenmore microwave and is exactly the same size. I'm sure to notice a difference with the new filter installed as the old one hasn't been changed for years.
