I checked the output voltage upon arrival. My voltmeter showed 3.8 volts on each of two batteries. The spec was for just 3.6 volts so they are fully charged. They fit perfectly in my Midland T51 walkie-talkies.It says Midland in several places on the package, as well as "Certified Original Equipment". Even though it says "Made in China" on the package, it also has the street address for Midland Radio Corp. in Kansas City, Missouri. I feel pretty certain that these are genuine Midland products and not counterfeit. For me that makes it worth paying a few dollars more.

We bought the Midland® – AVP14 Rechargeable Battery Packs to replace the old batteries in our walkie talkies, and they worked perfectly! These battery packs perform just as well as the originals did when they were new. I’m very happy with this purchase, and it’s great to have our walkie talkies working like new again. If you need replacement batteries for your Midland devices, these are an excellent choice. Highly recommend!
