I bought two valves three months ago but I just had the chance to open the bag and use them. When I opened I noticed the products were defective. The steam was leaking from the side of the valve and making terrible noise. I had to disconnect and shut off the radiator immediately. May be the seller deliberately sold the defective valves to me or broke during shipping. When I checked them, one of them had visible cracks. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Doesn’t work properly. Do not buy. Leaks steam and does not close properly. Very noisy. Do not buy I wish I could get my money back. Bought 2. Waste of money!!

After installing the valve on the steam radiator it was observed that water and steam was leaking from the base of the valve, also noticed that water was coming out.The unit was discarded because it appeared defective, and one was purchased locally.

Item arrived quick luckily as our other split and was causing steam build up and water on our hard wood floors. This one been durable and was easy to install.
