Let me just start by saying that I have ordered about 8 of these so far, and they all work amazingly! I use them on both wire cages (large size) and in glass terrariums (small size). I've tested them with sugar gliders, ASFs, spiny mice, and rats, so I've had a good sampling of usage.The suction cups are amazing and have never let go so far on my terrariums. The screw that lets you hang these on cages is well built and seems very sturdy.The best part is the lid on top, because it means that you can refill your bottles without even having to take it off the cage if you have a bottle or gallon of water nearby! Or if you do want to take it to the kitchen to refill it, it just pops or lifts right off the clip, no springs or latches to mess around with like most bottles.The mechanism for drinking on this bottle is also a "one size fits all" device, whereas water bottles with the little balls in them can only be used by animals of the correct size (ex. a mouse can't lift the larger metal ball). Additionally, this doesn't leak, while many of the cheaper ball type mechanisms do.This is literally everything I want in a water bottle, it's like it was designed just for me. Buy one and spread the word!Update: these bottles are still going strong! I've found that the extra voracious chewers (my ASFs) did eventually chew on the suction cups enough that they fell off. However, I put some velcro on the back of the bottle holder, and it works great. I can take the bottle out to fill it without having to remove the velcro, because the bottle isn't attached to the holder. Still five stars!

All in all I would give this water bottle a 4/5 stars. I really liked this water bottle for my pet mouse mochi. It has a good water flow with minimal leakage. I feel as if it’s valuable for my money. It is durable, except for the fact that Mochi chewed on the lid and the suction cups eventually making the water bottle unusable. I liked this water bottle because Mochi’s house is a large fish tank so it was hard to find a cheap water bottle to fit his cage type. I also liked the appearance of the bottle because I could track how much water he was drinking!

I have a glass aquarium that my hamster lives in and I got this bottle so that he could have more floor space. I am so impressed! The suction cups that are included to keep this bottle on the tank are so strong that they do not move at all. The bottle is easy to install, it's easy to fill, and after a week of use I have not seen it leak once. Chunky The hamster has no problem drinking out of it and now he is even happier with all of his room to explore.

My two pet mice Munchkin and Topsy have been using the tiny-sized LIXIT bottles, which have to be attached to their glass aquarium cages with Extra Strength Velcro. They dispensed water fine, with no leaking. Unfortunately, over time the LIXITS in each of their enclosures would not stick well with the Velcro, so I sought another solution, fearing that they would thirst to death after constantly finding the bottles off the glass and lying in the litter of their cage. So, I bought two Midwest bottles for my little ones recently. Topsy is smart, because HE keeps trying to remove the blue top and he carries it from the top of the contraption and deposits it in the far corner of this litter. Even though I can easily withdraw water from the nozzle with light finger pressure, I noticed that some reviews on here mentioned how little mice and hamsters cannot seem to get the knack of drinking from them. I noticed that Munchkin was not running on her wheel today. I THOUGHT she was getting water from her nice new water feeder with suction cups. Well, to my horror and sorrow, I found my poor little girl burrowed in her litter DEAD. I believe she died of thirst. I am heartbroken. If anyone knows of another DECENT water bottle that can be used on glass aquariums, PLEASE let me know.

It's the best I've found yet for leaks. But it's impossible to get the spout off with the plastic tool it comes with. One of the two bottles I received wasn't on right and was crooked so I tried to take off and it just tore up the tool.. I've Purchased four of these total and none of them actually are able to unscrew. Other than that my pigs and I definitely prefer this one over the ball types for leaks alone. Note there still is some drips while drinking but not a constant drip.

We have had this bottle for a year and it has never leaked. We have tried other types and brands and this is the only one that has worked very well. We ended up buying 3 more. You won’t regret buying these for your guinea pigs.

this is great little water source for my guinea pig. I especially like the size. It requires me to refill every 2 days or so which insures fresh water for my pet.

International delivery is terrible. But the water bottle is good, no leaking at all unless you touch it, guinea pigs easily switched to this one From old water bottle.
