When we placed the order for this blind, we were doubtful about the fitting and quality.We also received an email from the seller saying that Amazon had an estimated delivery date shorter than they could accomplish. They asked if it was ok if it took longer that promised. We said it was ok, but we needed it by the first week of June. To our surprise, the item got here very quickly, even earlier that the Amazon promised delivery date.The blind was very easy to assemble. The instructions are very clear, except for two metal pieces included in the package and shown in the instructions. It isn’t clear what to do with them.Installation was very simple and releasing the tension of the blind to make it easy to open and close it, was an important feature. My wife can open and close it without any problem.The sun protection is perfect. Our new wooden floor in our walk in closet and our clothes are now protected from the bleaching effects of the sun.The price might sound a bit high, but the functionality, the design and the sun protection is offers, make it a good investment.I would recommend this blinds and the seller. The company is very meticulous in the manufacturing of their products and the shipping packaging was excellent and very protective of the product.

Desperately needed something to block or filter out the intense sun from a south facing skylight. Also wanted something to serve as a screen for when I wanted to open the skylight for ventilation, but not allow bugs in. After searching several sites and numerous Amazon options, this seemed to fit the bill the best.This product is lightweight, very attractive and well made. It is simple to put together — just slide the side rails into the top and bottom screen sections, then turn the corner screws to adjust the cord tension for the screen sliders (see last photo). It forms a neat, lightweight unit that can then be placed into the skylight opening for attachment.My skylight opening had slightly irregular dimensions (+/- 1/8â€) so I ordered it with the -0.1†deduction, which worked perfectly. I also used adhesive backed foam around the frame, giving it a snug fit and blocking any light from the edges.*Note: The frame arrived without the holes in the side rails - needed to screw into the skylight sides. I contacted the company and they offered to send a replacement at no charge. However, I was able to use my Dremel to drill the holes myself, so that was not necessary.I did not order the adjustment pole, nor did I attach the handles, as the shade is easily reachable and I liked the clean look without them. There are slots along the edges of both shades, and the edges can overlap slightly.I am extremely pleased with the final result. The shade does a great job in blocking out all light, or filtering the light, as needed. The screens slide smoothly, while also remaining in place (see comparison photos).*Final word: The company was excellent to communicate with. They reach out, upon receiving the order, to clarify measurements and any other details. They also communicate about the production and delivery timeline. I ordered this on May 27, with a delivery estimate (from Amazon) of June 11-25. The product was delivered on June 3! Produced and delivered, from China, in 7 days.Overall, I am extremely impressed.

This was an easy add on to our kitchen. The skylight happened to let in light right where we keep our bread and sure enough, you could see the build up of moisture inside the bag and killed several loaves before we figured it out. Nice looking shade that works very well. We also got the extended handle to reach it.Measure twice before ordering! Ours was spot on.

I was very impressed with care to protect all edges and good quality of material, no plastic parts! Simple install, with 4 screws in each corner to build frame. Screen slides easily in side rails and I never had to adjust tension on strings.The 4 screws to mount inside window could be an inch longer as not all window boxes are framed equally. Sometimes drywall mud is different thicknesses. I did remove an 1/8 inch when measuring to order and glad I did. It gave room to adjust within the window box. Then to give clean edges and block light on frame edges, I caulked entire edge except the bottom in case condensation occurred. Really cleans it up and looks good!Highly recommend as they look amazing!!!

I like that it hides the dirt spotted skylight window and looks very nice when closed. Filters the morning light so now I can sit at my favorite spot at the table without it being too hot or sunny. I was afraid to use our exact measurements in case we somehow goofed, so now we have just a tiny sliver of light showing around the edge. My husband plans to caulk it tomorrow. Glad I bought the longer length pole to close the window. I like the handle, which looks nice, and also makes it easier to open and close the shade. It moves smoothly. The instructions are pretty good. Came with all the parts needed. We didn't take into account the fact that there's metal flashing around the skylight, so we had to install it a little away from the window, which made our measurement slightly less precise. But I also had let the default setting stand so it deducted a fraction of an inch to allow easier installation. Still worked great. Glad we got it.
