Designed for residential and commercial use, Miller Stainless Steel Permanent Double D-Ring Roof Anchors are ideal for new construction or as a retrofit on roofs with asphalt, shake or tile roofing materials. The Double D anchor system provides 2 safe anchor points when securely installed on a wood roof peak sub-surface or vertical wall. Only the permanent D-ring anchors are exposed to ensure a safe surface for other roofs workers. Stainless steel body construction ensures strength, and the D-ring anchors are zinc-plated to resist corrosion. These permanent roof anchors can also be used for gutter cleaning, window and skylight cleaning/repair, chimney maintenance and general roof maintenance. This fall protection equipment meets OSHA 1926.502 guidelines and can accommodate a single user up to 310 lbs. 140.6 kg.

This double D permanent roof anchor is designed to provide two D-ring anchorage points when securely installed on a wood roof sub-surface. Made up of 304 stainless steel with 2 zinc plated steel D-rings and 8-galvanized steel nails. The anchor can be applied during new construction or retrofitted into the design of finished roofs with asphalt shingles, shakes or tiles. The RA40 is nailed securely across the ridge opening and the roof is finished, overtop of the RA40, with the roofing materials and ridge vent. Only the D-rings are left exposed for a quick and safe connection. Must be used in conjunction with a shock-absorbing lanyard, that will limit fall arrest forces to 900-Pound. Measures 15-4/5 Inch length by 3-2/7 Inch width by 1/2 Inch height.

I don't know why it took me 20 years to buy a roof-harness system but now I have one. Having a permanent anchor on the peak means I'm safe every time I go up to clean the gutters, chimney, sweep the roof, power wash the siding. I love it.

These should be standard on any roof. I use fall protection any time I’m working around the outside of my house and off the ground.

While reroofing our house, I placed these on the ridge for safety concerns. You can hardly see them and will be usable, in the future, when I need to get on the roof.

The double D design allows nailing it under the ridge cap which makes it accessible from both sides of the pitched roof. It comes with 8 nails that secure it well. This does require a harness with rope to tie off to the D ring.
