This is a fantastic product! Here is why:- It keeps the food warm for hours. I did not count the maximum hours it can go but at least 2+ hours.- Excellent design and finish. Easy to open and close the lid even with one hand. There are no sharp corners or rough edges. The body is sturdy and even the lid has decent weight to it.- It looks beautiful. It is a polished, shiny steel finish. The size is not too big or small, so it fits on your counter or table.It is great to know when a company puts so much thought into creating a product. After a lot of searching, I am happy I avoided generic brands and went with good ol' Milton.

This pot is made of stainless steel, & insulated in order to keep soup, gravy, etc., hot after removing it from the stove. Please note that you should fill the pot with boiling water, drain, then add the hot liquid. I asked the seller to be more specific about the size I wanted to order, & I received a very short, curt, answer, indicating that the sizes are plainly described in the product details. I have never experienced such poor customer service from any Amazon partner, but I guess there is a first time for everything. Be aware of the size you order. If you are looking to save a large amount of soup or gravy be sure to choose the appropriate size.

We were are using plastic hot box, so want to move out from plastic to steel and tried with this, however the food is not staying hot for long time as the plastic one.

The item arrived in a damaged and open box. There were no documents or instructions. The Smazon page says it is dishwasher safe but the box says no dishwasher!
