Seems like a well made, quality grease gun but the reason for four stars is: Amazon lists “Country of Origin†as USA. Box says, “Made in Indiaâ€

I'm not very familiar with greaseguns. My impression is they aren't well liked by people that have to use these frequently. A bunch of minor hassles that make the experience bad. I bought a chipper, had to get a greasegun to maintain it, and this is the one recommended to me by someone with way more experience. They said it was easy to use, and didn't screwup. I've run a tube of grease through mine so far, and they were right. It was easy to load, easy to prime, and works the first time every time.I don't have the experience to say if this is very much better than other options, but if I ever have to buy another one, I'll be getting the same thing. The Milton has worked flawlessly, and I wouldn't want to gamble on anything else.

Picked up this grease gun after some basic Amazon research. I don't have to use a grease gun often, but I wanted something that was good quality without breaking the bank. The grease gun seems to be well made and works great so far (just greased the snowblower).Based on various reviews out there, I added teflon tape to the threaded connections (head to body, hose to head, and hose to coupler) before first use. Note, I did not tape the threads of the air relief valve, the bottom cap, or coupler assembly .I did find the coupler did not want to come off the fittings after greasing using the "tilt and twist" technique from the instructions. Luckily, since the coupler comes apart (careful, there is a spring and a ball bearing in there, so don't take it all the way apart), all I had to do was loosen that connection a couple turns and the coupler came right off the fitting....very easy to do and it should be part of the usage instructions if you ask me.

I normally don't write reviews like this but this grease gun is so disgustingly bad that I had to comment. I'm used to using well designed, high quality tools. I realized this grease gun would not be on the same quality level as a Lincoln, which I have several. There are several problems with the gun. The rubber plunger which pushes the grease up the tube does not easily fit into a plastic grease tube. Better grease guns have a mechanism on the handle that allows you to lock the rubber plunger on to the handle so you can push the plunger into the tube. Not this gun, there is no easy, clean way to push the plunger up the tube if it's stuck. I had to remove the bottom of the gun and push the plunger into the tube with a screwdriver, what a mess. The adjustable lever which allows you to move from a pressure pump to a volume pump sticks the plunger in the volume mode. I strongly suggest you consider other, more professionally designed guns. One of my Lincoln grease guns is 40 years old and it still works perfectly. Buy once, cry once.

Once in a while an item arrives that exceeds expectations and this is one of them (for me).I have looked and looked at the grease guns available and I can't help feeling that a lot of them are not made to last in my opinion, some are junk.I see "pot metal" used on the head where high pressure is created. I see poorly made stamped metal for handles and triggers. Poor finishes and quality abound....until I looked over this one.Sure, it is not earth shattering but for me it was a bump up in the field that got me to purchase it.This one is advertised to make 7000 PSI, the average appears to be 4000 PSI on some makers, even less on others.Lincoln used an aluminum head, stronger than pot metal in my opinion. The finish is attractive and useful. Knurled tube for better grip, plus trigger choice for high volume or high pressure. Combined bulk loader and air trap release. One thing that caught my eye for just a bit extra quality was the trigger handle is etched for which point creates high volume and which creates high pressure. Nice.Recommended!UPDATE: Nov. 21, 2018 Very happy with this gun! Back in Sept after receiving it, I put in a grease cartridge and it was air locked. Opened the little air break and had it working right away. Lubed the trailer wheel bearings and the Hendly Hitch zerks. Did a few other little jobs during the fall. Awesome.

STOP LOOKING. This is the grease gun I've been dreaming of. I have spent more money than I care to admit trying to find a gun that actually works. It's made of actual steel, not pot metal. the plunger actually works, incredible spring tension behind it. The hose and fitting are quality as well. I didn't have to physically hold the tip on the zerk fitting like with other guns.
