Open the tank
Unscrew the butter gun head, pull the back pull rod completely to the bottom of the barrel.

Screw back the gun head
Screw the gun head tight, then open it half a turn to let the excess air out so it doesn't spill.

Press down on the T-handle
Push down on the T-handle to release the spring by pressing the sheet and push the grease.
-
Ready to Lubricate
After installing the coupler you can start using.

I needed a new grease gun for some the farm tools and this had the right price for the amount of times I will use it. Seems like good quality construction. Will update if any issues come up

It was very difficult for me to pull the plunger back to insert the grease tube. I really liked it but a little too tough for me. Guess I’m not as strong as I thought I was. I’m in my 50s.

The product I received had two couplers: a "normal" screw type zerk coupler and a quick release spring loaded coupler. The normal coupler leaked and was useless, I think the screw thread would not let me tighten it enough. The quick release coupler with wings worked perfectly. However, I don't see that part included in the current product. Separately, I did not have the strength to pull out the plunger to load the grease cartridge. A younger guy did it effortlessly. So, if you are an old coot, make sure you have someone to help, perhaps your wife.

Very good gyn. Is the perfect size for our needs is very easy to grease. Materials are still here and it’s not leaking.
