Not sure about the CE Level rating of this but even if it's on the bottom end of the protection level, some protection is better than none. this seems made well enough and fits in the Milwaukee denim riding shirt as it should since it is made for it. Barely detectable , if it all while wearing. I do think some further design effort could be made in both the shirt and spine pad to allow better airflow when wearing the shirt.

This foam armor is near duplicate of the original armor and inserts well into the back slot.

This product has excellent quality, is lightweight, and fits perfectly within the jacket it is designed for. It provides extra protection to the spine, though the level of protection is unknown. For the price, extra cushioning can’t hurt anything. It seems durable and flexible. It is barely noticeable in the flannel jacket. It seems like it would provide good protection for in town riding and slow speed riding, but on the highway you might want something sturdier.

Hard to believe it will do much when it’s so thin. It’s just a thin foam insert. 3 stars because I like Quality of jackets and this piece fits perfectly. Let’s hope it hold up to it’s potential when in an accident.
