I was nervous to order these, but they turned out to be perfect for what I need. (It is actually more difficult than you might think to find basic tongs out there!) I ordered the 5 3/4 tongs. They are perfect for hanging on the side of an ice bucket for ice. I use them on my charcuterie board. I also use them for misc. ala carte items when we grill, such as for cheese, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, etc. They feel sturdy in your hand. The opening is plenty wide. They appear to be stainless steel. I always end up hand-washing them, but it says they are dishwasher safe. Not sure what else you would need in a tong, but they have been great for me. **Update** I have now put them in the dishwasher multiple times and they came out perfect!

These tongs were ordered to help serve relishes for a holiday dinner. There were several size/length choices available and I blindly selected the smallest size (4"). The tongs arrived in a timely manner, seem to be well-made, and worked for olives and cherry tomatoes. If ordering again, I would order a bit longer length - 4" is pretty small. I gave this item a 4-star rating because it is very easy to bend the tongs open more ... this was a good thing for serving large olives, but I wondered if over time and use if metal fatigue might set in. They really are a nice little tong, and I don't need to use them very often, so I'm sure they should last for awhile. Again, a little longer length would be easier for most items.

These tongs are the perfect size for serving condiments for my posole. I have several condiments in various bowls and each bowl has its own set of tongs.

I like that they are very sturdy and I learned that I need to have a ruler handy when I order because these are a little too small for what I wanted to use them for.

These tiny tongs are cute, and helpful for individual serving of garnishes. It’s easier to set these tongs atop garnishes than it is using a spoon that will topple over when resting on a small garnishing dish.My big complaint is that they look and feel cheap, so because of this I will only use them with my immediate family members, my husband and our children. I will look for something else for out of town guests and friends who come over for dinner.
