As long as you pay attention to the lengthy list of items to avoid cleaning in this unit, it should be just the ticket.I tried it on some ancient jewelry and it renewed it beautifully: now I have a bracelet that I can wear again, and a ring and a pair of earrings.Most of my treasures are gemstones, though, and it says explicitly NOT to use with gemstones including ruby, which seems odd in that it is not soft stone. It doesn’t exclude diamonds so that is at least something. That leaves out much of my collection.I often wear glasses at home, but the lenses are anti-glare coated, so it isn’t usable with that either, which is a disappointment. I wouldn’t dream of trying it with my contact lenses.I do not wear dentures, so I cannot comment on that part.The unit, itself, is a quality appliance. The size is good, it is easy to use, and there are easily accessed options. There is a slight hum when turned on and engaged, so you know it is working. There was a small but noticeable amount of debris left after cleaning my old jewelry. You can remove the lid and the well from the base so it is 3 parts plus the cage and watch ledge. Great design.

Should not be placed in an ultrasonic cleaner, due to the risk of the stone being released due to the ultrasonic vibration. The vibrations from the cleaning action may weaken Emeralds and Amethysts, as it may crack the stone’s tiny fractures. Other softer stones such as Opals, Pearls and Turquoise may not fair well in an ultrasonic cleaner.This unit will not provide you the same cleaning that your Jeweler’s cleaner will. But does provide some minor cleaning of your jewelry.

This review might not be too useful to everyone.I got this ultrasonic cleaner to actually clean some of my accessories for my espresso machine. We have these things call puck screens and portafilter baskets that are made up of tiny holes that are big enough for liquid but not for the coffee to go through them, unfortunately, sometimes small coffee gets stuck in these and doesn't come out easily.This cleaner was literally just to clean those dirty tools, and so far it has done the job for me. I just toss whatever fits inhere for a few minutes and when I take them out they look good as new. I did try it for some cheap stainless steel jewelry and it also cleaned that, but I also couldn't tell you the difference between dirty and clean in that regard.Overall would recommend giving it a try, since there's a lot of use for these types of cleaners (Like phone cases).

I can only speak to the glasses setting as I do not need it for anything else...I ran this on two pairs of eye glasses and 3 or 4 pairs of fingerprinted kids sunglasses. After the allotted time in the cleaning tub I rinsed them off (as per the directions) and they were still a little smudged. I used a lens cloth to wipe everything clean and as long as the lens cloth is clean, the glasses were able to be wiped very clean. I used a not so clean cloth and it smudged the glasses even worse.I have used the power wash in the eye doctors office and this (obviously) isn't as good but for an at home cleaning its not terrible. I was hoping for a better result but this, again, isn't too terrible.

I've been through a couple of ultrasonic cleaners in the past few months, so I was skeptical about trying another one that would just break within a year. (The last one broke within a week!) I think I've finally found the one that will last.This cleaner has a perfect design. Most ultrasonic cleaners are a single unit with a separate power cord. That means you have to carefully fill them while avoiding getting water into the area where the unit plugs in. But the Minthouz cleaner operates differently. The unit has a separate base that powers it. You can simply lift it off the base to fill it, replace it, and then start the unit. This not only makes it easier to fill, but easier to clean.The unit comes with a plastic basket to hold your items and easily remove them from the water bath. There's also a separate piece for wristwatches — if you have a watch with a face that can't get wet, you simply rest the watch face on the plastic piece and let the band dangle in the water. (I don't wear a wristwatch so I haven't tried it, but it seems like a good feature for anyone with a watch that gets dirty.)So far, the cleaner has worked very well. If you're in the market for an ultrasonic cleaner, give this one a try.
