No matter how many jewelry cleaner solutions I tried, nothing made my wedding rings sparkle like they did when our jeweler cleaned them for us. My husband cleaned both of our rings as well as a couple other pieces of jewelry in his ultrasonic brass casing cleaner, but it that is just too big and bulky to haul upstairs and uses far too much cleaning solution. I wished for a smaller version and this popped into my life.It's extremely easy to use, uses a small amount of concentrated cleaner and water, and has 3 timing options... 3 mins, 6 mins, or 12 mins. Since my rings hasn't been cleaned in a few months, I opted for the 12 minute cycle. Once they were finished, I pulled them out and rinsed them off to inspect the results. They sparkled like they did fresh from the jeweler! After use, I unplugged the power cord and dumped the solution into the sink and rinsed it out, then set the unit upside down on a washcloth to dry. Once it was dried, I wrapped the cord up and set it in side the unit, placed the lid on and it fit easily into a drawer in our bathroom cabinet. Really recommend this!

I was very pleased to find a no-frills ultrasonic cleaner. I really like this basic unit although I find myself mixing my own cleaning solution to get the benefits of hot water penetration in the cleaning process. This unit is NOT equipped with its own heater. Of course, I searched high and low for the chemical cleaning solution I use in all my ultrasonic and high pressure cleaning tasks and quickly discovered that I was out. Fear not, with two cups of distilled hot water, two tablespoons of degreasing liquid dish detergent and two tablespoons of distilled white vinegar, I was in business. The cleaning tank volume is a little more than 2 cups and when allowing for fluid displacement by the piece requiring cleaning, it's a perfect size. With three timed modes of operation, this little cleaner does a lot. I did not hesitate placing my food splattered reading glasses (we aren't going to talk about the incident where my glasses fell directly into the pot of sauce I sought to stir - thankfully no one saw me fish my glasses from the bubbling menace to reading glasses everywhere and I quickly recovered from the initial embarrassment) in its tank for a quick clean and refresh. The cleaning unit performed as expected. A great addition to this ultrasonic cleaner would be a fitted basket making removal of those items being cleaned much more convenient than picking those items up with fingers - especially if the cleaning solution is more caustic than the one I created for my testing purposes. In all, the LATHEVEE Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner is a great addition to anyone's jewelry cleaning routine and it beats the heck out of using a toothbrush!

I bought this ultrasonic jewelry cleaner hoping it would do a great job on its own, but it didn’t clean that well using just water. The instructions say to use water, but it didn’t give my jewelry the sparkle I was expecting. However, I did buy a separate jewelry cleaner to add to the water, and with that, it worked much better. The ultrasonic cleaner itself is okay—it’s portable and does the job, but if you're looking for really deep cleaning, I’d recommend adding a jewelry cleaner to get the best results.

This is a generous sized ultrasonic cleaner, and only a few inches high, so it would not take up much room under the sink, or stacked on top of other personal care items. A plug-in wall cord is included, as well as instructions, but the instructions only mention to put in “detergent†to clean items, not the proportion of detergent to water, or if there should be water, etc., just not to exceed the water fill line. I wasn’t sure, but I put a few drops of detergent along with plain warm water, and I was pleasantly surprised that it did actually clean my bracelets, and also brightened a cheese spreader and a sapphire ring. I imagine it would also do well with a liquid ultrasonic cleaner, maybe even better. There are three stages of cleaning, 3, 6, and 12 minutes respectively, and in the instructions, is sounds like you need to do all three. I’m not sure about that, so I used the 6 minutes respectively setting, and it seemed to do the trick. Perhaps more soiled items would need more time. This will be useful, but it requires experimenting a little, because the instructions aren’t very precise.

This is a very easy to use machine. Just press the power button until the time you wish to run the machine for is selected. I cleaned several rings and ear rings in it and the job it did was fantastic! I have a nitpicky gripe that the machine is very loud (video attached) It loses a star for that but if you aren't running it all the time it shouldn't be a big deal. The machine relies on the water/solution being used to be hot because the machine itself does not have a heater. Pick one up if you are in the market!

This ultrasonic cleaner is a fantastic product. The simple one-button operation and three cleaning modes make it incredibly easy to use for a variety of items. I needed my rings cleaned. I do a lot of gardening and my wedding ring needed a severe cleaning. I thought this would help. I ran it with clear water on the 12 min cycle. No change except the band looked shinier. I put dawn dishwashing liquid in and ran another 12 mins. Nothing. Put a little laundry detergent in for 12 mins. Nothing. So I combined dawn with detergent for 12 mins. Nothing. I finally gave up and just put in a cup WTH baking soda and vinegar and used a soft brush and now it sparkles. But I really thought the machine would’ve worked and was disappointed.
