I bought this 40 mm NATO NBC filter for my Avon cm50 works pretty decent it does stick out a little bit but that's because this filter was not designed for the cm50 it is in the sense that it is the same thread size 40 mm NATO but however you want something more compact because you have a Avon cm50 as well I would recommend trying to find the actual Avon 40 mm NATO filters but all in all if you're just trying to get anything you can get your hands on that is 40 mm NATO and has NBC protection this is your best bet

Unfortunately we are living in different times and one must take certain precautions. Purchased two of these to go with the CBRN gas masks we already own. I have little faith in surplus masks or the filters since there is no way to tell how old the items are or how they have been stored. Ratings for these filters have been good and the life expectancy of these units is very good as long as they are properly stored. One of the few purchases I have made in my life that I hope I will never have to use but know I have them if needed.

well it looks quality and it feels quality, so why wouldnt it be quality? cant really test it out to see if it works, but the company is pretty well known, so im putting my trust in them

The Amazon description says MIRA SAFETY M Gas Mask Filter. The product name says VK-530 and the about item describes it as the VK-450.I took a leap of faith an purchased it on the accompanying pictures, and it turned out to be the one I wanted, which is the MIRA SAFETY NBC-77 SOF

Make sure your filter does radiation.
