I went on a trip to Seattle and came away with some delicious coffee beans. I recently moved and I still hadn't found my coffee grinder, so I bought this beauty and it really does a good job!!! Love it 🥰

This made a very nice addition to our pour-over coffee set. The adjustable settings allow for any grain size, and finding the correct setting for us only took a minute or two. Quiality-wise it is beautiful, but more importantly, it is STURDY.One main selling point on this as opposed to an automatic is it is super quiet in comparison, i.e. I can wake up, make coffee for my wife and I, and not wake our daughter. Defintely would recommend this product to friends and family. For us it grinds enough for two in a pour-over, I would say three would fit comfortably, for 4 you may need to grind twice. Hope this answers any questions for you while reading, have a wonderful day!

Brewing coffee takes time and patience. Time to get the filtered water to the right temp - time to let the ground beans steep and bloom - and time to get a good grind. This grinder is exactly what you are wanting from coarse to very fine. Yes - manually grinding your beans takes a bit longer giving you far more control of the quality of your brew as a result. It took a few turns to find my setting for my French Press to get the right extraction, but once it's set it's set. I have used other manual grinders that did not lock in place correctly, were wobbly and weak (the crank arm bent on first use), and didn't have a quality burr grinder cone. This grinder is well made, quite sturdy and effective. I would like to see a separate cover / lid to store the ground beans if I don't use them all - but it has the capacity I need for my daily brew and gets it done within a few minutes whilst my water is heating so I am getting the freshest brew possible and not exposing the ground coffee and ruining the overall experience.I think this has just replaced my current manual grinder for home use. The copper-colored accent gives this a nice appearance.

laborious. It works. At least the beans feed through, for the most part, without having to shake or "stir up". Adjusting grind is not easy. The one positive: it's looks nice on the coffee cupboard.

I have ground my own beans myself for several years now. My every day grinder has been Cuisinart’s entry level burr grinder which does a great job. I purchased this hand grinder so that I could have an easy to clean, simple, and well made grinder for the pricier local roasted beans. This grinder fit the bill perfectly. The adjustment for grind levels is very intuitive and gives me plenty of adjustment range. The burrs (thus far) seem solidly made and make quick work of the beans I’ve used.Do keep in mind this is a fully manual hand grinder. The handle provides plenty of leverage, but you will find that the hand holding the cylinder itself does just as much work. The grinder is very light, so it can feel a bit flimsy as you’re grinding if you don’t hold firmly. It takes me about 4 minutes to grind the full hopper ( roughly 7 tablespoons of whole beans)If you purchase this with the expectation that you will have to do a bit of work, I think you will be very pleased with a simple, effective, and well made grinder. I will update my review if any parts on the grinder fail.

Easy to set & maintain, and the end result when used with a French press is really well worth it. Tip: it works better hand held instead of just on the counter. The motion when holding it while grinding is better for feeding the coffee beans in.

This is obviously not electric, if you're expecting it to grind your beans super fast it's not for you. It works exactly as intended and looks great as well. The grind size is adjustable, but really could just do with one setting for large grinds, mainly because I use it for my French press with matching aesthetics. It's a bit of a work out in the mornings, finer grind settings take a lot more time. I know if the power ever goes out I can still grind my beans.

Used this for less than a week and saw signs of rust on the screws inside the hopper assembly so I decided to further investigate the extent of it and disassembled the entire thing. Saw that there was rust on majority of the screws, including the main axle, and even on the hopper! This gets one star due to health concerns, it’s a shame because I love the aesthetic look of it. It did the job but not at the risk of my health.

It is a fairly nice product. The only problem is that the crank is not as tight as it could be.
